Gohan and Galaire walked towards the mess hall of the ship. The two had spent at least a hour fixing the engines despite the fact the two weren't engineers. Galaire had only a vague understanding of how the engines worked. The two managed to get the engines up and running through trail and error. After all that work Gohan was positively starving. The two hadn't heard from Videl since she had gone to get something to eat.
"Knowing Videl," said Gohan as the two approached the mess hall itself. "She'll would've eaten the entire contents of the kitchen by now"
"Yeah," replied Galaire. "I heard you saiyans are notorious gluttons"
"If we didn't fight all the time," said Gohan. "we all would be..."
Gohan's voice trailed off when he rounded the corner and entered the mess hall.
Videl was in the middle of the room. The first thing that Gohan noticed was that Videl was now ten feet tall. Next thing that Gohan noticed was her absolutely gigantic stomach which probably made her ten feet tall. In fact it looked as if Videl was mostly stomach with her head looking ridiculously small in comparison. Videl still had her saiyan armor on due to the fact that it was designed to expand up to sixty feet (which only made sense since saiyans had the ability to transform into a gigantic ape under a full moon). Videl's legs weren't visible as her stomach covered them. In short, Videl looked like a big ball with a tumor on top of it.
Videl's skin was tinted green and looked to be made out of a gelatinous substance. It looked as if Videl had somehow merged with one of those creatures that had been on the ship earlier. Gohan and Galaire simply stared at the odd sight.
"Videl?!" Gohan managed to say finally, "what happened to you?"
"That's what I want to know!" exclaimed Videl clearly in considerable distress. "I came down here and I couldn't stop eating... more so than usual I mean. As I kept eating, my skin started to turn green!"
"You resemble those slime creatures..." Galaire thoughtfully said.
"You think I don't know that?!" spat out Videl, glaring at Galaire. "I look hideous now"
"Come on, Videl" sighed Gohan. "nobody said that"
"I'm learning new stuff about your species" said Galaire. "I didn't think saiyans took that much stock over appearances"
"You think this can be reversed?" asked Gohan.
"We have to figure out what made this happen before we can reverse it" said Galaire. "if it can be reversed, that is. Perhaps she ingested a small piece of the creature and that's the reason why she's this way now....fascinating reaction"
"Is that all you can say?" asked Videl.
"What exactly did you eat?" asked Gohan who glanced over at the kitchen of the mess hall.
"Everything" sighed Videl. "even the stuff that wasn't food; I ate refrigerators, the large stove in the corner, the trash, all the food. Everything tastes delicious to me. I am still hungry.... it's like I can't get enough to eat"
"I....see" said Galaire.
Videl looked over at Gohan who had come closer to her with hunger in her eyes. Quick as lightning, Videl whipped out a slimey appendage and snatched up Gohan before Gohan could react which was something to say given the instincts of the average saiyan. Videl moved Gohan to her open mouth clearly meaning to eat him as well.
"Videl!" yelled in Gohan in alarm.
Videl didn't even seem to notice that Gohan had said anything as the female saiyan tossed him into her mouth and swallowed him down.
"You're a cannibal now" sighed Galaire.
"So hungy..." said Videl who reached out with an elongated slimey arm to reach for Galaire but the fairy-like alien moved as quick as lightning, effectively vanishing from view. Videl looked around the room.
"You're a fast one" said Videl getting up to her feet.
"I'm not one for fighting my enemies" said Galaire. "I usually eat them"
Videl snorted. "How can you eat anything? You're so small"
"Judging anyone by their size can be a blunder" said Galaire. Galaire was nowhere in sight. Videl couldn't tell which direction Galaire's voice was coming from: it seemed like it came from everywhere.
Videl decided that two could play the vanishing game. From a standing position Videl had vanished from view as well. For long moments silence filled the room.
Videl and Galaire suddenly appeared in the middle of the room. Galaire was looking directly into the eyes of Videl. Videl was unable to move a muscle.
"How are.....you...doing this?!" spat a frustrated Videl.
"My species has special gifts" said Galaire. "Now to put you someplace safe. You won't be harmed; you'll just be stored in one of my stomachs"
Before Videl could say anything, Galaire had opened her mouth and placed both of Videl's arms even though it should've been impossible with her size. Next, Galaire proceeded to swallow down Videl which proved to be a bizarre sight for anyone that might've been there.
In a manner of minutes, Galaire had swallowed down Videl without any sign that she had eaten someone that was a lot bigger then her.
"Not the most delicious meal I had" said Galaire.
