On an island somewhere off the coast of Africa, a temple stood. The temple was well over 5,000 years old (give or take) and it looked it. The temple itself had moss and vines growing all over it, and thousands of years of dust lay in layers over the temple. The temple was a major find that was discovered three years ago by Professor Hawkins. During those years, the temple didn't reveal any of its secrets to the professor. As the professor and his team delved deeper in the lower chambers of the temple, they came upon what looked like a throne room of some sort. The throne room was nearly untouched, but it had 5,000 years of dust in it...as well as a huge spider population. There was even a throne made out of solid gold that would weigh somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 pounds. On the throne, sat a statue of a woman. The woman was beautiful and made to look like a goddess. However, there was no name of this goddess anywhere in the temple...oh, it must be under the layers and layers of dust somewhere. The statue of the woman sitting on the throne was somehow familiar to Rebecca, granddaughter of Professor Hawkins. The kid genius usually came with her grandpa on these digs; she was fascinated by digs like this one. Another thing about the temple was that there was no refernce to it at all. That's why Rebecca called the temple "The Forgotten Temple of the Forgotten Goddess". It took three more years of digging through the temple to discover something extraordinary. The story of the temple was stored on 10 scrolls. Professor Hawkins was able to read through the first scroll when he gasped.
"What is it?" asked Rebecca, who was pawing the other nine scrolls. Rebecca could read bits and parts of Ancient Egyptian...but her grandfather was the expert on that.
"I think we should call Yugi and his friends here" said Professor Hawkins.
"Oh?" asked Rebecca. "and why's that?"
In answer, Professor Hawkins turned the scroll around so that Rebecca could see it. On the yellowing scroll, there was a grand painting on it below the Ancient Egyptian writing. The painting was of a giant woman who towered over the land of Egypt. One of the people at the feet of the giant woman was clearly the Pharoah. Rebecca gasped as she saw that the Phaoroah on the scroll looked a lot like Yugi!
"I..Don't believe it!" cried out Rebecca.
"I think Yugi and the Pharoah who lives in his puzzle would be interested in this" said Professor Hawkins. Rebecca nodded.
-----------------
Yugi was having another odd dream. Ever since he was aware of the Pharoah who lived in his Millenium Puzzle, he had nights were he dreamt of Ancient Egypt. The dreams were of life in those days, and of happenings of greater importance. These dreams must come from the Pharoah himself and Yugi is pulled into these dreams somehow.
This time, Yugi found himself in the throne room of the Pharoah. The Pharoah was sitting on a high throne, overlooking three women who had just came into the room.
"Your Majesty, these are the Sisters of Anzulu" said someone who looked like Yugi's grandpa. "they have something to say to you"
"O Mighty King of Noble Egpyt" said a tall blond woman, bowing to her knee. "The birth of Anzulu is coming. We must prepare for her arrival. In order to do this, we need 100 of your subjects"
"I see" said the Pharoah. "and why do you need 100 of my loyal subjects?"
"We must sacifice 100 virgins to Anzulu or her wrath will be great"
"And who is this Anzulu?" asked the Pharoah.
Suddenly, the scence changed into total choas. One giant woman was standing over the land of Egpyt, putting all of it in her shadow. The giant woman was beyond immense; she was a goddess! All around the giant woman, were ruins of Egyptian cities and Pryamids. The woman was holding the Pharoah himself in her huge hands. Yugi was at the feet of this giant woman. The giant woman looked down to look at Yugi...and Yugi gasped to see the face of this giant woman. The shock of whatever Yugi saw made him wake up with a start.
Morning sunlight came in through the window of Yugi's bedroom. Yugi was in a cold sweat and his heart was beating a mile a minute. He quickly calmed down.
"It was just a dream..." muttered Yugi.
