The call came from a young man standing toward the corner of the bar. He was short, about Ed's height, with spikey white hair and piercing blue eyes. He wore a long, elegant, white greatcoat with the kanji for the number "10" on the back, and a katana was slung over his shoulder. His name was Toshiro Hitsugaya, Soul Reaper Captain of the Gotei 13's 10th Company.
Despite his miniscule height and youthful appearance, he had a commanding presence. "You people should be ashamed of yourselves! To think that any self-respecting adult with act in such a way--"
Ed quickly cut him off with an indignant "'Adults'?! What are talking about?! You don't look a day older than me! And besides, what gives you the authority to boss us around, Shorty?!" Toshiro twitched violently at the remark. "... What did you call me... ?!" he said angrily.
"Yeah, you heard me: 'SHORTY!'" The young Captain had had just about enough from the diminutive Alchemist. Drawing his sword, he said "I'll choose to ignore those remarks and skip right to the part where I kick your sorry ass. Reign over the frozen heavens... HYOINMARU!" With that, his sword erupted in bluish-white light, and a dragon made of ice and water appeared next to him, poised to strike.
Edward merely smiled. "Alrighty, then... if you wanna fight, I'll be happy to oblige!" After clapping his hands, he slammed his palm against the ground and pulled out a long spear, which he quickly raised in a fighting stance. "Bring it, punk!"
As the two went at each other, Haruko quickly jumped in with them, exclaiming "ALRIGHT!! This is gonna be fun!" as she wildly swung her guitar. An embarassed and scared Naota tried to slip away into the crowd, only to bump into a tall, busty woman with long, blonde hair.
He looked up at the black-clad stranger and hastily apologised. "That's alright" she said. "Accidents happen. By the way, my name's Rangiku Matsumoto. What's yours?" She flicked her hair back seductively as she introduced herself, making her ample cleavage all the more visible.
