Naota took a deep breath and opened the door all the way open. Haruko continued to work on the TV, as if she hadn't heard the door opening. She was also muttering under her breath. Naota saw that Haruko was dressed only in her underwear, and her breasts were back to normal.
"Do you need any help?" asked Naota.
Haruko didn't answer right away. She just stopped muttering and worked on the TV for several minutes. In that time, Naota walked to his bunk bed and sat down on it. That's when Haruko glanced in his direction.
"Some night, huh?" asked Haruko.
"Yeah.." said Naota. "it was some night"
Haruko snorted and continued to work. Naota couldn't tell what Haruko was doing to the TV...but it appeared to be broke.
"What are you...?" started Naota.
"I'm fixing the TV so that I can find that cloaked bastard" snapped Haruko. "he's gonna pay!"
"How..?"
"Don't you get tired of asking those stupid questions?" asked Haruko. Her voice was keeping calm, but there was an edge to it. Haruko was still in a bad mood, but she was trying not to show it.
Naota remained quiet for a minute.
"So...you slept with the native girl" said Haruko.
"Er, yeah" said Naota. "you'll be happy to know that she doesn't look like Dolly Paton now"
"Good for her" said Haruko.
"What ar...?" started Naota.
Haruko threw down the wench down on the floor hard. She glared at Naota.
"What did I do?" asked Naota, who fliched.
"It's...not what you did" said Haruko, her face softening. "it's what that cloaked bastard did"
Naota understood completely. Haruko was gonna use him as a dildo, but was interupted by Amarao and the cloaked figure.
"You broke the TV to relief stress, then?" asked Naota.
"That's not how I relief stress, usually" said Haruko.
"What do you do?" asked Naota, not sure he wanted to know the answer.
"Usually by smashing up a city as a giantess" said Haruko with that wicked smile of hers. Naota didn't know what to say.
"Or...watching somebody smash up a city" amended Haruko.
"I'm not gonna smash up my hometown for you" said Naota.
"Why not?" asked Haruko. "it would be the most exciting thing to happen in this town since the scandal with the native girl's parents"
"I'm not a violent person by nature" said Noata, plucking at the guitar that came from his head that one time. He had used this guitar as a bat once. He grinned at the memory.
"Neither am I" said Haruko. "but, sometimes you gotta let go of some stress"
"Not by killing people" said Naota. "I thought you were a cop"
"I'm a crooked cop" said Haruko.
"No matter what you say, I won't smash up Mabase" said Naota.
"But it would make it easier to look for that cloaked bastard" said Haruko.
"I said no"
Haruko smiled a smile that greatly worried Naota.
