The countdown: 2
=====================================
It was five minutes until the dining hall opened. Washu had narrowed her search for small objects that could drain energy from a power spot down to ten. Most of the objects on the list had been missing for thousands of years. One of the listed objects caught her attention more so than the others: it was listed as the "Eye of Chaos", although it was known by other names. Why that particular object had caught her attention Washu couldn't have said, even to herself. Washu just knew there was something omnius about it.
Next to Washu, Mii was giving " birth" to the people that she had unbirthed the previous night. The people that Mii gave "birth" to seemed to be highly disoriented for a couple of minutes. The kitchen workers rushed back to work.
Mii had just given "birth" to the last person that was in her womb when Washu finally noticed what Mii was doing. Washu just stared at Mii but said nothing.
The blond-haired man seemed to recover much faster than the other men that Mii had given "birth" to. The man had average looks and average height. There was nothing particularly special about the man that stood out.
"You" said Mii to the blond-haired man.
"Yes?" asked the man.
"Are you a servant to The Consortium?" asked Mii.
"No I'm not" said the man, narrowing his eyes at Mii. "why do you ask?"
Mii turned to face Washu, and said "You wouldn't mind if I...take this man for myself, would you?"
Washu smirked and replied, "I wouldn't but he might"
"Depends on what you want me for" said the man, his voice weary.
"I need someone to....milk me" said Mii, her eyes wincing slightly.
"Excuse me?" asked the man in a deadpan voice.
"Unbirthing people effected me in a way I wasn't expecting" said Mii. "my breasts are very tender right now and they need to be emptied"
The man looked as if he was going to argue but then Mii locked her eyes with his. The man's eyes went unfocused.
"It's that easy, eh?" Mii muttered to herself before placing her hands on each side of the man's head and gently guided his head towards her bare breasts which were twice as big as the man's head. Within moments, the man started to suckle on Mii's nipple like a newborn.
"That feels so much better" said Mii as the man continued to nurse at her breast.
"You never breastfed before?" asked Washu with a raised eyebrow.
"Not since I've been back" said Mii.
"How long have you been gone?" asked Washu.
Mii opened her mouth to answer when she suddenly turned to face a point to her left.
"What?" asked Washu glancing in the direction that Mii was now facing. The air seemed to be shimmering.
"What's that?" asked Mii pointing at the odd disturbance in midair.
"Offhand I would say that someone is trying to be invisible" said Washu.
"I was wondering how long it would take for you to notice me under this cloak" said a rich voice. After a short pause, a man suddenly appeared from thin air. The skin of the man was tinted green and his hair was done in a style that was vaguely like a mohawk. In the man's hands was what looked like an orindary fur cloak. As Washu and Mii watched, the man placed the cloak on a table.
"Zamasu" said Washu. "I'm surprised to see you here"
"Who's he?" asked Mii.
"A god that went bad" said Washu.
"A god that finally saw the truth about the pesky mortals" said Zamasu. "A god that finally decided that something should be done to the mortals that seek to destroy the sancity of creation that we gods made"
"Not all mortals seek to destroy" said Mii.
"I've studied these mortals for longer than I should've" said Zamasu scowling at Mii. "they only know how to destroy and maim. They dare to tread on grounds that was never intended for them. They've forgotten why they should fear us gods. They're nothing but insects that should be stamped on"
"They're not insects" said Washu. "And you're in no position to cast judgement on them"
Zamasu turned to face Washu with pure contempt in his eyes. "And you're in no position to lecture me about what mortals are or aren't"
Washu stood up from her chair. "Have you forgotten what position I hold? I am one of the Choushin, the goddesses that created the multiverse. I outrank you. You should--"
Zamasu laughed a truly mirthless laugh. It was several minutes for Zamasu to stop laughing.
"You?!" spat Zamasu. "you dare to say that you outrank me?! You, that took something perfect, something divine, something pure and turned it into something profane? I can't think of a more blasphemous crime than that!"
Mii turned to face Washu. "What is he talking about?"
"She turned herself mortal" said Zamasu. "in order to find a being that was even more powerful than herself. Tell me something, Washu, what precisely was the next step? Were you and your sisters searching for your replacements because you three couldn't do your job properly?!"
Something like real anger flashed on Washu's face. "I'm assuming you're behind whatever is draining energy from the power spot?"
"So you have noticed" said Zamasu.
"It's the Eye of Chaos isn't it?" asked Washu.
"The Eye of Chaos?" asked Mii.
"You probably know it by another name" said Zamasu, glancing at Mii. "it has so, so many names; The Eye of Chaos, The Hateful Eye, the Eye of Balor, Crimson Eye of Death, among others"
"It's a divine weapon of mass destruction, Mii" said Washu. "where did you find it, Zamasu? It's been missing for years"
"That's my little secret" said Zamasu.
"What are you intending to do with it?" asked Mii.
Zamasu thumbed his nose at Mii. "That comes later. For now, I thought I would partake in a meal of this fine establishment. As I understand it, the food is superb"
"You just came here for a meal?" asked Washu. "I find that unlikely"
"It doesn't matter what you believe" said Zamasu. "I came here for a meal and see that if you would like to join my side"
Washu gave a hollow laugh. "I don't think so. I don't believe in your cause"
"I didn't think you would" said Zamasu.
Mii turned to face Washu. "He's allowed to have a meal here?"
"As long as he doesn't cause a ruckus in here" said Washu. "we serve all who enter here as long as they behave themselves"
"Washu still acts within the rules of civility" said Zamasu putting a sneer in the last word.
"At least one of us still does" muttered Washu.
