"Say, how's come you can understand me?" asked Morgana as Haruko was busy with putting on one of the VR gear. The VR gear was made by a company called Shattered Illusions. The logo of the company was a brick wall being demolished by a wrecking ball. The VR gear consisted of headgear, gloves and boots.
On the headgear that Haruko picked up had "death to the suxors" written in white chalk on the side of it. Haruko mouthed the word "Suxors" questiongly before putting on the other gear.
"Did you hear me?" asked Morgana. "I asked how you could understand me. People just hear meows from me"
Haruko shrugged. "Maybe I can understand you because I'm a god"
Morgana studied Haruko for a long moment. "You're also a Shadow. I've been around plenty of Shadows to know how one smells"
"Oh?" asked Haruko putting on the gloves. "You make a habit out of entering Palaces?"
"I used to" said Morgana. "I never heard of a Shadow existing outside of the Metaverse, though. How are you able to do that?"
Haruko ignored Morgana as she was putting on the boots. In mere minutes, Haruko had put on the VR headset and switched it on.
The VR headset booted up with the words "Ready Player One" briefly before presenting Haruko with a list of choices.

"Subtle reference there to a book of the same name" muttered Haruko. Haruko picked City Under Attack and was asked if she wanted to join a game in progress. Haruko picked the "yes" option.
Haruko found herself on a street in a city filled with skyscrapers. It was as if she was really there. It certainly looked very real. Before Haruko could do much more than look around, a giant boot stepped right in front of her. Haruko looked up and up at the giant Futaba who was standing at nearly 1000 feet tall. Futaba wasn't looking at Haruko but at something else down at street level.
Haruko found out that she had an inventory of items at her disposal: she had a machine gun, a rocket launcher and a health pack. At the corner edge of the HUD was a short red line that respesented Haruko's hit points.
"Now, how to become a giant I wonder" said Haruko to herself as she ran down the virtual street. She walked a couple of city blocks down until she came upon a small empty lot.
The empty lot contained several items floating several inches off the ground. One of the items were machine gun ammo, one was what looked like an air tank and the last item was a water tank.
Haruko walked up to the air tank that was labeled with "air of greatness"
"Uh..." said Haruko as she glanced over at the water tank which was labeled with "water of might"
Haruko looked back and forth at the air and water tanks, not sure what to make of it.
Haruko shrugged and picked up the air tank. There was no hose or anything else to it; it was just an air tank. As Haruko looked more closely at the nozzle of the tank she saw the words "place mouth here" in tiny letters.
"This'll make me a giant?" asked Haruko. "Well...one way to find out I guess"
Haruko placed the nozzle to her mouth and turned the valve that was just below the nozzle. Immediately air started to flood into Haruko's mouth and down her throat. Haruko started to grow after a few moments.
Haruko grew and grew with apparently just air. As Haruko started to outgrow the buildings around her, her breasts started to inflate with air along with her ass. Haruko could actually feel the air that was inflating her chest and ass.
As Haruko continued to grow, she could see Futaba in the act of destroying a skyscraper. As Futaba did so, Haruko was brought into Futaba's field of vision.
"Whoa, are you a boss?" asked Futaba coming over to where Haruko was standing.
Haruko removed the nozzle from her mouth. "I just thought I might join you in destroying this city"
Futaba tilted her head at Haruko for a moment and then grinned and laughed, "Mwehehehehe"

Tsunami walked into her room located in the expansive offices of The Consortium. The entrance to the room led to a genuine forest. Tsunami walked down an overgrown path that very few people knew about.
The overgrown path went on for a little over three miles. The end of the path led to a small palace with a great tree growing right out of it. Tsunami entered the palace and made her way to a particular corridor that ended at a spiral staircase that led downwards. Tsunami proceeded down the spiral staircase for several levels until she reached a door that was made out of what looked like glass. The glass door opened before Tsunami was within five feet of it.
The glass door led to a very long corridor that Tsunami leisurely walked down until she came to a door with a chair in front of it. Sitting in the chair was Tenchi Masaki.
"How is she?" asked Tsunami.
Tenchi, who had been quietly reading a rather thick book, looked up and smiled at the goddess.
"She's much calmer today" said Tenchi motioning at the door behind him. "Perhaps she's getting over this......well, whatever it is"
"Perhaps" said Tsunami. She went over to the door and opened it. The small room beyond held only one person who sat at the very center of the circular room wrapped up in chains.
"Tenchi?" asked the occupant of the room. "Where's my Tenchi? You're not my Tenchi. Give me my Tenchi. I want my Tenchi. I demand to see my Tenchi"
"I'm right here, Ayeka" said Tenchi standing up from the chair and facing the open room.
Ayeka looked up to reveal crazed eyes. The princess of Jurai studied Tenchi for a long silent moment.
"You're not my Tenchi" said Ayeka. "My Tenchi wouldn't have had a secret child with that whore Washu. Washu spirited my Tenchi away and left you in his place"
"My sister would never do that" said Tsunami.
"Would never do what?" asked Ayeka. "Have a secret bastard baby or spirit my Tenchi away?"
"Mayuka isn't a secret baby" said Tenchi.
"I was never told about her existence, whoever you are!" spat Ayeka.
"I'm your Tenchi" said Tenchi.
"YOU DARE LIE TO A PRINCESS OF JURAI?!" shrieked Ayeka. Ayeka started to gather her power but said power drained away thanks to the chains she was wrapped in.
"Ayeka" said Tsunami. "Please try to calm down"
"Don't you tell me what to do!" yelled Ayeka. "I'm a princess of Jurai! Nobody orders me around, you hear me?! NOBODY!"
Tsunami sighed heavily and closed the door.
"What is with her?!" asked Tenchi. "It all seemed to start when Mayuka was born"
"I don't know, Tenchi" said Tsunami shaking her head. "I'd say that she was effected by something but there's no evidence of that at all. Washu keeps scanning her for anything that could explain this...madness she's suffering from but Washu hasn't found anything wrong with Ayeka"
