Where am I?
.....how did I got here?
I don't like it here....
It's too dark....
"Who are you? You don't belong here
The voice was just....wrong somehow. It didn't belong to any human. The voice wasn't in words....it was more of a feeling. A very bad feeling. It was totally alien and....and.....evil? Yes...the voice belonged to an evil entity of some sort.
"I asked you a question, bodyless soul "
Body less? I don't have a body?
"It's very rare that a soul should wander so far away from its vessel. I ask you again, how did you get here? "
I don't even know where I am! I don't know how I got here! I can't even see! It's so very dark here
"So....it was a total fluke that brought you here. I see. That has been known to happen from time to time. I suppose I can help you get out of here at the very least"
Where am I and who are you?
"Who I am isn't important. You couldn't possibly pronounce my name"
Where am I?!
"You're in.....the Dark Ocean. There is a reason you mortals fear the dark"
Ocean? I don't feel like I'm in water
"Nevermind that now. Just GO!"
He felt a tremendous push from somewhere. He was shoved pretty violently with overwhelming strength.

Naota woke to find himself in a revival pod within Washu's lab. He spent several minutes trying to reordiate himself. He felt both dizzy and slow-minded.
"How did you wander so far away?" asked a feminine voice. Naota opened his eyes to see that Tsunami standing right in front of his pod. It took Naota's eyes a handful of moments for them to focus on the blue-haired goddess.
"What's.... Where am I?" asked Naota, his voice little more than a croak.
"Still out of it I see" said Tsunami. "Give it a few more minutes"
Tsunami walked out of sight. Naota closed his eyes. He didn't feel like moving at the moment.
Naota was awakened by the sound of two people talking.
"So you actually like being a dragon, Revy? I can easily return you back into a human" said Tsunami somewhere to the left.
There came the sound of a snort. "Why would I ever want to go back being a human? This fucking rules! Wait til everyone in Roanapur gets a look at me now"
Naota opened his eyes and looked to his left. There stood Tsunami talking with a twenty foot tall humanoid dragon. The dragon had the general shape of a human but the body did have the characteristics of a dragon, such as huge batlike wings and a tail. Two horns emerged from the red hair that was on the dragon's head. The ears were long and pointed and also poked out from the red hair. There wasn't a long snout but the mouth appeared to be filled with fangs. The dragon was wearing clothing that was in tatters. The dragon also had gun holsters within the tatterd clothes.
Naota stepped down from the pod. He knew that he had slept but he didn't knew for how long. Naota felt totally refreshed. He stared at the dragon which had a cigarette in its mouth that looked comically small. A dragon smoking a cigarette seemed redundant.
"What the fuck are you looking at?" asked Revy the dragon when she had noticed Naota was staring at her. Revy's eyes were golden with black slits for pupils.
"Um....sorry" said Naota looking away quickly. "It's just that I haven't seen a dragon before. Especially a humanoid one"
Revy made a noncommittal sound.
"Revy here seems to have been knocked into one of Washu's experimental chemicals" said Tsunami who finally noticed Naota.
"By your newest member of your little club" said Revy to Tsunami. "By sheer accident of course"
"Yes....I saw the video on Godtube" said Tsunami.
"Godtube?" asked Naota.
"It's a video sharing site for gods" said Tsunami. "Either Monika or Washu uploaded it"
Before Naota could say anything else, a voice came from one of the other pods in the room.
"So you do plan on going back to Roanapur as a dragon?"
The voice came from a man with black hair and wearing a simple white shirt and tie.
"Eventually, Rockie baby" said Revy with a smile that sent shivers down Naota's spine. She also made a pleasing sound in her chest that sounded inhuman. "I may just take over that shithole of a city. Nothing can hurt me now"
"Balaika won't take that lying down, you know" said Roc.
"I suspect not" laughed Revy. "But look at me, Roc. Who would dare fight me when I'm like this?"
"You have a point I guess" said Roc reaching into a pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes.
Naota walked out of the pod room. He was followed by Tsunami in short order.
"So...what's the Dark Ocean?" asked Naota.
"The Dark Ocean?!" asked Tsunami. "You were there?! I knew you had wandered far away but I had absolutely no idea..."
"I don't remember much of it" said Naota. "But I do remember that name. So what is it?"
"It's the home of....what lurks in the dark" said Tsunami.
"Come again?"
"It's the home of....creatures that thrive in the dark, who live in the dark. It's the home of all things unknown and unknowable. It's not a place I like to talk about"
"You're talking about.... The boogieman or something?" asked Naota.
Tsunami considered a moment and then asked, "Have you ever read Lovecraft?"
Naota just stared blankly at Tsunami.
"I wouldn't think so for someone so young....and from Japan" said Tsunami. "Well....trust me. It's not a vacation spot"
