Haruko started to walk back to the Dimensional Cafe along with Naota and the others. The young man with the hat that was in the pile of puke from Ash hesitated before following Haruko and the small group.
On the way back to the cafe, Tokimi found herself glancing at the man with the hat that was trailing behind them by a good ten feet. Something about the man seemed odd. He definitely looked like a normal human being....and yet there was a subtle tremor in the air around him. Was he a god or something else? The hat he wore was a generic hat with a sport's team logo on it. The logo was a stylized letter C with what looked like a cannonball in orbit of the C...or an asteroid in flames.
The man had no other notable features: he was average size, had average looks and probably weighed in the neighborhood of 200 pounds.
"A bee in your bonnet?" asked Haruko who was walking a little behind Tokimi. "You keep glancing back here. Do I have something in my teeth?"
Tokimi shook her head no and kept walking.
Bakugo and Mina Ashido were busy talking to each other half a block ahead of Tokimi. At one point it looked like the two children would get into a fight but they kept on walking.
The group arrived at the Dimensional Cafe in short order. The group walked into the cafe while the man in the hat hesitated before pulling what looked to be a walkie talkie from a pocket.
"Tell Rhyse I've found the Dimensional Cafe in this dimension" said the man. " It's in the Kanto region in Viridian City "
The man received no response.
"You there, Sadet?"
" Radio transmissions don't generally work around this establishment " said a rich voice from behind the man in the hat. The man turned around to see a man with white hair in a sideways mohawk. The man's eyes grew wide.
"Zamasu? What are you doing here?"
Zamasu glared at the man. "Lord Zamasu"
"Alright, Lord Zamasu" said the man. "What are you doing here if I might ask?"
" To catch a glimpse of their newest member " said Zamasu nodding at the Dimensional Cafe. "It's my first time seeing one of the new gods"
" New gods? "
Zamasu didn't reply at first. He stared at the Dimensional Cafe for a few silent moments. "Is the cult assembled in this dimension?" Zamasu finally asked .
"Very nearly" replied the man in the hat. " however, that girl isn't in this dimension as far as we can tell"
"The search continues then" said Zamasu more to himself.
Haruko and Naota entered the office of The Consortium and headed for the common room, the room with the large pool in it. Haruko had said she was in the mood for a swim. Bakugo and Mina had pretty much vanished once they had returned to the cafe. The two were most likely getting a bite to eat or something else. Tokimi mentioned something about checking on what Washu was doing.
Nobody was in the pool room when Haruko and Naota entered it. Haruko went straight towards the changing rooms that was in the same room. Naota went to the changing rooms too as he was also in the mood for a swim.
Naota exited the changing room wearing light blue swimming trunks and looked around. Haruko was nowhere in sight. Naota shrugged and dived into the pool.
The pool was big and deep.....much deeper than Naota guessed. In fact it was too deep to make any sort of sense. It was as if the pool was deep as an ocean.
Naota spent several minutes just swimming aimlessly. Then he came up for air. He saw Haruko sitting on a beach chair at the edge of the pool. She wore a blue string bikini that really suited her. Haruko was a beautiful woman and the bikini showed off her curves. Naota just gawked at the pink-haired woman while floating in the water.
Haruko noticed that Naota was looking at her which caused her to smile widely. She then got up from the chair and dived into the pool.
When Haruko didn't emerge from the depths of the pool, Naota grew worried and dived deep into the pool. Naota spent a few minutes searching for the elusive Haruko. He was about to come up for air when he felt something biting his feet. Naota looked down and saw that Haruko had both of his feet in her mouth! Naota jerked up but to no avail. Haruko had a firm grip on his legs and was swallowing him down slowly. Naota tried to struggle but he was running out of air.
That was when Naota saw a huge shadow coming up from below Haruko. It looked like something was swimming upwards from the depths of the pool. From the size of the shadow it looked to be a whale....a truly gigantic whale. Naota tried to motion this information to Haruko by violently pointing downwards. Haruko ignored this and kept on swallowing Naota.
Naota was knee-deep in Haruko's maw when the shadow below started to take shape. It wasn't a whale that was swimming upwards. Not unless a whale had red crab-like hair and green eyes. Not unless a whale can open its mouth wide enough to swallow a football stadium. It was indeed Washu that was swimming upwards with her mouth wide open. It looked like Washu had grown a few hundred feet or even a thousand feet. Naota could do nothing but stare in awe.
Haruko noticed that Naota was looking at something from below. She turned her head to look downwards with Naota still in her mouth. When Haruko saw a gigantic Washu swimming upwards with her mouth wide open, Haruko started to swim back to the surface. But it was fruitless. Just before Haruko could emerge from the water she was being pulled into Washu's mouth.
It wasn't Haruko or Naota that had emerged from the water but the giant head of Washu. The head of Washu took up nearly a quarter of the pool. When Washu emerged from the water she had gulped down both Haruko and Naota.....as well as a couple hundred gallons of water.
"I just love seafood" said Washu, cackling.
