The Dimensional Cafe sits right in the middle of a DCP or a Dimensional Convergence Point, a place where many different dimensions come together. It is also happens to be sitting on top of a power spot. A power spot is the intersection of one or more leylines. Leylines are narrow ribbons of energy that wraps around a planet that's powered by the rotation of said planet. Everyone is naturally attracted to these power spots for one reason or another. Spiritual beings feed on the energy from a leyline from ghosts to gods. There are many power spots located around the world, although most are in remote locations; there's one in Minnesota, there's two in the United Kingdom and one is under Lake Michigan.
Very few DCPs are located on a power spot. DCPs are a natural phenomenon perhaps due to the experiments of the three Chousin.
As the name suggests, The Dimensional Cafe can exist in any or all dimensions no matter how far flung that dimension is.
In one such dimension, the Dimensional Cafe is located in Viridian City.
Ash Ketchum stumbled through the streets in a drunken stupor. Hours earlier he had learned he was a demigod and that his mother, Delia, was a goddess of fertility. Having learned this news, the eighteen year old Ash decided to have a late-night feast at 500 feet tall because of all the power coursing through his veins. Ash mistook a brewery for a restaurant and so he drank the entire contents of a brewery. Normally Ash would've died due to alcohol poisoning but either because he was a demigod or he was now 500 feet tall he didn't end up in the gutter somewhere. Misty was on his shoulder and his beloved pikachu was on Misty's shoulder.
Ash looked down as he stepped on what looked to be a scooter with the license plate number being 5656. The scooter was reduced to scrap metal. "Oops" said Ash then he giggled.
"You have a fetish for destroying bikes" muttered Misty.
"A scooter" corrected Ash his voice slurring. He then took a drunken step trying to step away from what looked to be a cafe. The result was that he kicked the building fairly hard.
The whole building shook.
"Are we under attack?" asked Skuld working on the damaged android known as the XK91 along with Washu. Washu was far too involved tinkering with the android to notice much else.
"I'll have to give Dr. Clay some credit" said Washu. " He knows how to build androids. However this particular android isn't completely loyal to him but to Zamasu. Hmmm....I wonder who made that decision"
Skuld sighed and continued to work on the other damaged android in the room....although it was a far more advanced android that Skuld ever encountered. That made her happy and excited.
The building shook which snapped Bakugo and Naota from the trance.
"What was that?" asked Naota.
"Not in the middle of it" whined Haruko.
"Are we under attack?" asked Naota.
"No" said Monika. "I'm hooked to the security c-c-c-cameras. Take a l-l-look"
The image of Monika was replaced with a black and white picture of the parking lot outside. The camera panned over to reveal the smashed-up remains of Haruko's vespa.
"Hey!" yelled Haruko. " Who smashed my ride? "
The tape rewound to reveal a giant naked teenager, obviously drunk, stepped on the vespa and then he kicked the cafe.
"Who the fuck is that?" asked Haruko. Laughter came from Haruko's stomach . "And you! Shut up and digest already so I can knock that little snot into next month"
" Scans indicate that he's a demi-demi-demigod" said Monika. "And his blood alcohol is......wow, that's impressive. I say that he d-drank the entire contents of a brewery"
"Shouldn't that have killed him?" asked Naota.
"Well he's dead anyway for stepping on my vespa" said Haruko.
"You can hardly move" said Scanty.
"You there, explosion boy" said Haruko. " Go and teach that moron a lesson "
"My name is Bakugo!" snapped Bakugo. " And why should I go after him? He didn't destroy my scooter "
"Fine" sighed Haruko and her stomach opened as it did before. Revy the dragon flew out and vanished down the hall. Haruko climbed to her feet and stormed from the lab. Long moments passed before Haruko came back.
"Let's go, Takkun" said Haruko grabbing Naota and dragging him out of the lab. Bakugo smirked and decided to follow Haruko instead. "This is gonna be rich" said Bakugo.
