Naota felt both lightheaded and groggy. Not a very good combination. Naota stumbled into the arms of Haruko and looked blurily around. The room was filled with people and pods. Some pods contained people and other pods contained what looked like developing embryos. Naota could tell that Haruko and Tokimi had exchanged a few words but he couldn't remember what the two talked about. It was all that Naota can do to keep himself from falling over. Haruko half-carried Naota out of the room.
The room of pods were somewhere in Washu's lab. As if on cue Washu had showed up suddenly. Washu and Haruko exchanged words and it wasn't long before that Naota found himself walking into his old bedroom back in Mabase.
"Huh?" asked Naota vaguely. "We're back home?"
"I took the liberty of connecting my lab with your house back in your hometown" said Washu. She went on to explain how but Naota quickly tuned her out as a wave of sleepiness finally overcame him. The last thing that Naota saw before sleep took him was Haruko and Washu speaking quietly in one of the corners.
Naota awoke with a start. Moonlight flooded the room. A glance around told Naota that it was well past midnight. It took his memory a handful of moments to snap back. He had been eaten by Haruko and apparently digested....only to be brought back to life by Tokimi.
Loud snoring told Naota that he wasn't alone in the room. Indeed he wasn't alone in the bottom bunk. Naota was lying on Haruko, his head pillowed on her breasts. Haruko was snoring away like a drunk sailor. One of Haruko's arms was wrapped around his middle holding him gently.
Naota heard a gentle note being plucked by a bass. Naota looked around to see the tiny version of the hippie Haruko was standing on his shoulder leisurely smoking a joint. The hippie smiled at him and waved.
"How long was I out?" asked Naota.
"Almost three hours" said the hippie. "That Washu woman said it would take that long for you to get back to your normal routine"
"It's night" said Naota. "Wasn't it morning?"
" Something to do with time zones" said the hippie shrugging. "The gist of it was that time behaves differently in the Dimensional Cafe"
The hippie smoked right in Naota's face, making him go lightheaded again. Naota then experienced a shrinking sensation. He looked around wildly to see that he was indeed shrinking. He shrank and shrank until Naota was only inches high right on the expense of Haruko's middle. He was standing right next to the hippie who stood at ten inches.
"Did you do this?" asked Naota.
"No" said the hippie.
"So.....Haruko shrank me while she was asleep?!"
" Seems so" said the hippie grinning away.
"Just what I wanted" said Naota sarcastically.
"Don't be a square, man" said the hippie. "All that you hafta do is wait until the big lady wakes up"
"Is that all?" asked Naota. "What do I do until then?"
The hippie puffed on her joint thoughtfully. Then she smiled and looked at Naota over her glasses. The eyes of the hippie had an immediate effect on Naota. He felt buzzed. Naota smiled in a rather goofy way.
"You can climb into my world to wait til morning" said the hippie walking down Haruko's shirt to the slightly exposed bellybutton. Naota dreamily followed wearing that goofy smile.
The hippie stopped and readjusted the shirt so that the bellybutton was no longer partially obscured. The hippie grinned at Naota looking over her tinted glasses again. Naota's buzz grew deeper.
"What.....are....you doing......to......me?" asked Naota slowly. "I'm not even.....smoking......."
The hippie didn't respond but jumped into the bellybutton and vanished from view. Naota stood there waiting making soft giggling noises. Naota spent a few minutes just standing there enjoying the buzz. Naota made to walk back up to Haruko's face. In the act of turning around Naota somehow tripped over his own feet and fell backwards into the bellybutton.
Naota fell for a long, long time. He fell for a impossible length until he finally landed in some kind of forest made out of guitars and basses.....and other musical instruments of all kinds. The scenery was oddly blurred and didn't seem to want to come into focus.
Naota climbed to his feet and walked down a dirt path that zigzagged among the odd trees. Naota walked in a daze as the scenery got even more blurred and distorted.
Naota entered a clearing with one huge house in it. The house was shaped exactly like Haruko's own bass. Naota walked up to the house and opened the door. Instead of a normal house the door led to what looked like a vertical drop to a long table some twenty feet below. Naota jumped down to the long table where the hippie was sitting.
The table was surrounded by what looked like towering piles of bellybutton lint.
"Ah, you came after all" said the hippie sounding genuinely pleased. The hippie climbed out of her chair and walked over to Naota and hugged him fiercely.
"Nice place" said Naota looking around vaguely.
The hippie broke off the hug and grinned. "It suits me dontcha think?"
Naota nodded.

Jim Hawking looked round-eyed at Hakubi.
"So....It was Tokimi who created this Haruhi Suzimaya?"
Jim, Hakubi, Mihoshi and Kiyone were all in a log cabin sitting at a table having breakfast. Breakfast consisted of traditional Japanese cuisine.
"It was during those uncounted amount of time she spent experimenting on a way to create a being that was more powerful than herself"
Mihoshi paid no attention whatsoever to the conversation. Kiyone eyed Mihoshi in a mildly annoyed way. Hakubi only smiled at Mihoshi before turning back to Jim.
"I wasn't told everything that happened between Tokimi and Haruhi" said Hakubi. "The two didn't got along together that well apparently. There was some kind of a huge argument between the two. The two went their separate ways until Haruhi started to reboot the multiverse. Tokimi stopped Haruhi and was so fed up with her that Tokimi erased Haruhi's memory of her ever being a god"
" Haruhi wanted to reboot the multiverse? " asked Jim. "What for? Why?"
Hakubi shrugged . "Tokimi never told me why Haruhi wanted to reboot everything"
" Probably because it had a virus " said Mihoshi sagely. "It's what you do when your computer gets a bad virus"
Kiyone groaned and placed her face in her palms. Hakubi laughed while Jim looked dumbfounded at Mihoshi while the woman continued to eat at her plate.

Haruhi Suzumiya sneezed while writing down a book report. The report was about a book called "Great Expectations" by some dead author whose name temporarily escaped Haruhi.
Sitting in the desk directly in front of Haruhi, Kyon glanced back at Haruhi whose hair was in not one, but six, braids.
"Someone must be talking about you"
"Eh?" asked Haruhi.
" Whenever you sneeze it means that somebody is talking about you " said Kyon. "Supposedly"
Haruhi studied Kyon for a long moment before snorting. "If that's true I wonder what they are saying about me"
"Don't we all" said Kyon turning back around and returning to his work. Haruhi drummed her fingers on her desk while she looked out the window. Kyon glanced again at Haruhi but said nothing.
