Although Hinata now had Naruto's commitment to go with her, she wasn't sure exactly where to go. There was still half-a-day left though, and she hadn't really done a lot.
"I was hoping we could walk around the village, Naruto-kun. I can give you a nice seat."
Intrigued, the young shinobi nodded his head and watched as Hinata lifted him into the air, placing him on her shoulder, propelling Naruto far past the buildings in the town. Even the nearby mountain could be easily seen from his vantage point, giving him a clear view of the entire area. From Hinata's perspective, it all seemed so fragile, so weak. She must love this view{/I] he thought idily.
"Good view. Does it come with maid service?" he joked.
Hinata replied to that by placing a finger teasingly on his forehead, the large digit rubbing him slightly and inadvertedly pinning him to her shoulder.
"Are you comftorable, or would you rather have a meal?"
"You think they'd serve...well...erm..."
Hinata only chuckled at Naruto's fumbling for words, moving forward into town. "I don't think they'll mind. Now just enjoy the ride."
When Hinata entered the village the second time, the shocked citizens from earlier had adapted, a trait that was necessary when training ninja. Even the civilians knew to move out of the way, giving the enormous kounouchi plenty of room. Soon she found herself at the ramen shop, bending over. The owner didn't appear phased.
"Let me guess. 50 bowls?"
"That sounds good," Hinata replied.
"Just don't put it on that guy's tab!" he smirked, pointing at her shoulder. Naruto could only let out a "Hey" as both Hinata and the chef laughed.
"You're just lucky I'm up here!" Naruto yelled. "If there wasn't a girl in the area..."
"Yeah, yeah, just pay your tab next time!"
