"Paradigm City, the city of amnesia. Despite the unknown tragedy fourty years ago, I'm always amazed when ever I see people driving down the street, picking up food at the market or just walking home. Even in the midst of the most confusing and terrifying situations, people have still been able to go on with their lives."

"Now, it has been said that Paradigm is a stage and the people in it are all actors. Well, if that's true, then I just agreed to star in a romance."

"Roger?" he broke out of his narration at the mention of his name. Turning his head to the right, he looked at the lovely young lady he was driving with who pointed out "You were doing it again."

"I'm sorry Dorothy," Roger just smiled and shrugged, not even sure if he said that outloud or if Dorothy somehow just knew what he was thinking. "I just couldn't help but think about how my life has changed so little and yet it seems to be so much better now."

"Funny, I was thinking the same thing."
"Really?"
"No, but it seemed like something a girlfriend would do." the subtle changes to Dorothy's face showed signs of embarrassment, but nice smile from Roger quickly made that disappear. He thought about that word "Girlfriend." It seemed like an understatement compared to h.ow close he and Dorothy were.

It was such a bizarre sight for the people of Paradigm city just three weeks ago. Anyone near the right docks got to witness the sight of a naked android with a belly that was fatter than her whole body suddenly emerged from the water and walked through the crowds as though they weren't even there. Dorothy simply made her way into the mansion and through another bizarre procedure, she literally regurgitated Roger up and out of her belly. It wasn't unpleasant, especially on Roger's end because he got to feel his body massaged against those hot insides once more, but as he lied there on the ground, covered in saliva, Dorothy put her hand to her now flat and empty tummy, feeling a bit sad that Roger no longer filled it. However, not two seconds later did he lock lips with his android savior, clearing pointing out to Dorothy that the connection they had made with him being inside her was still strong.

Finally they arrived at the resteraunt, and Roger opened the door for Dorothy. Taking her black gloved hand, he watched as she stepped out in that lovely, skimpy yet tasteful red dress which was identical to the ensemble regularly worn by her human counterpart.

"And for the lady?"
"Nothing for me thank you." she told the waiter. Being an android, Dorothy had no need for food and the only close that she wanted in her gut was Roger himself, it may seem odd for him to bring her to a resteraunt. However, when Dorothy said that she wanted their time together to be more romantic she meant it, so when ever Roger had a special evening prepared for the two of them, she went no matter what it was.

The only drawback was the stares they were now getting. Not many people knew who Roger Smith was, but sometimes they did catch on that Dorothy was an android. Tonight there were at least three couples who were looking at them, but at least when tried to whisper what they saw, no one believed them. Who would believe that a human would be dating an android?

"I am sorry Roger." Dorothy said. This naturally caught the negotiator off guard as to why Dorothy was apologizing "For what?"

"They are staring, because of me." Dorothy pointed out. She wasn't embarrassed by people, but she felt bad that she was putting Roger in this pedicament. Then, she saw a bouquet of red roses held to her from across the table.

"Forget about them. Tonight, the only thing that matters is you." Roger told her. Dorothy took the roses. She couldn't smell, but her fingers caressed one of the delicate pettles, and as she looked back up at Roger, he saw something on Dorothy's face he was always happy to see, a tiny smile.

She had been doing that a lot more lately, but how could she not? Roger had been wonderful to her. Even when they came back and he had to file a police report of the accident, the last thing he said right before he left Daustin's office was that he was taking Dorothy to a movie. Surprisingly, the one more in shock about this wasn't Daustin, but Dorothy herself. Just hearing Roger openly admit what was going on between them, unashamed what anyone might think, made her mechanical heart sore.

She crossed her legs as she felt a familiar moisture, another side effect Roger's romance had on her.
