"OK, OK, fine!" Miroku shouted, moving his staff even as the lustful Kagome kept a tight grip on him. "On the count of 3, we run and we don't look back, got it?"
"Fine!" Sango shouted, even as she was being lowered towards Inu-Yasha's lower body. "Just hurry!"
Miroku nodded, and with a heave, threw his staff with the force of a javelin, right towards the perverted girl's eye. The target hit briefly, causing her to howl before swatting it away and releasing her grip.
"It's too small to do any real damage, but at least it stunned her."
"What about me?!" Sango asked in desperation. Not replying with words, Miroku threw his staff towards Inu-Yasha's eye, and observed a similar shriek of pain before letting Sango go.
"Are they?"
"It's too small to put their eyes out unfortunately. So let's run now!"
Sango nodded, and the two took off, though not before picking up the unconscious Shippo from the ground. As they fled into the mountains, Naraku scoffed.
"They can't escape the love I've created." Turning to the two giants, they didn't appear to be ready to rampage, but were observing each other's injuries, rubbing the small cuts each one had and attempting to clean out the eyes of the other. The demon on the ground just turned away.
"Yes, yes, have your fun. I'll finally be rid of the both of you very soon," Naraku thought before vanishing.

Miroku's legs carried him through the forested area for half an hour before they finally failed him. Having been too worried about being caught to mount Kylala Kylala, he just ran forward, hoping that Inu-Yasha and Kagome wouldn't pursue them. Exhausted, he finally collapsed in an open clearing.
"No sign of them," an equally tired Sango observed. "I think we're safe."
The pair, along with Shippo, who had only begun to regain consciousness, lay still for five minutes. At that point, what appeared to be a batallion of about 100 soldiers stood in front of them. A broadly built man atop a horse yelled down at them.
"Move aside! We have buisness to attend to!"
"Like?"
"Like it's buisness of the Takeda clan, monk!"
"I think he's with the Oda clan!" a man from within the ranks shouted. Sango quickly stood up to address the accusation.
"No, we're not from the Oda clan! We're travellers! I'm a demon hunter, and he's a monk. We were running from something that was approaching Mt. Hideyoshi!"
The captain on the horse shook his head. "Mt. Hideyoshi is where Oda's lieutentant has set up his camp, not to mention is purging from outlying villages that belong to our clan. We've come to take them back!"
Miroku resisted the urge to laugh. If the soldiers attempted to approach the mountains, they would surely find themselves on the wrong end of Inu-Yasha and Kagome's gigantic passion-fueled rampage. Still, what are the odds that they'd believe a story about a gigantic half-demon and his equally giant lover residing their, being...
"This is confusing even by what we're used to dealing with!" Miroku shouted, only to notice everyone was staring at him.
"Um, did I say that out loud?"
"Fine!" Sango shouted, even as she was being lowered towards Inu-Yasha's lower body. "Just hurry!"
