Jack Contsatine was in his ship in orbit around Earth. He needed to come up with a plan to kidnap Washu for Dr. Clay. The problem was that Washu was far too smart and could see every attempt coming her way. This made Jack sit back in his command chair and think of what to do. Washu thought that he--Jack--worked for her son, Hakubi.
That was it! Get Hakubi to kidnap his own mother! Of course, he would have to be brainwashed in order to do it, but that didn't bother Constatine. Brainwashing Hakubi would be easy with the equipment that Dr. Clay had given Jack. That would surely put Washu off-guard. Jack smiled and he drank a bottle of beer. He spat out the beer.
"These Earthlings can't even make a good beer" muttered Jack.

Nights at the Masaki House were usually quiet. Everybody was in bed, dreaming about various things. There were some nights that some people would be up and down all night...it was usually Ryo-oh-ki that did this.
The cabbit was a light sleeper, and always had been. Ryo-oh-ki was like a watch dog, always on the alert. On most nights, Ryo-oh-ki would sleep with Ryoko...but that wasn't possible now. Ryoko had been shrunken earlier and Tenchi was 'playing' with her. Ryo-oh-ki sighed. She loved Tenchi almost as much as Ryoko did, but Tenchi never paid her much attention. The only people that was kind to Ryo-oh-ki were Sasami...and of course Washu.
Tonight, Ryo-oh-ki was prowling around in the storage shed attached to the house. There was one basket of carrots in there, and Ryo-oh-ki was gorging on them. She was in her child form. Ryo-oh-ki could change herself in four ways: Spaceship, Child, and Adult...and her cabbit form. Like Washu, Ryo-oh-ki can change into any of her forms at will. Ryo-oh-ki could walk in her child form quite well....but was a little clumsy. In her adult form, she was even more clumsy. But, that didn't stop her from learning how to walk on two legs. She could talk too...but she had a limited vocabulary. She had trouble talking, and the only person that could understand her 'meows' was Washu.
"Is this the right house?" asked a soft voice from the outside. Ryo-oh-ki's ears perked up.
"Yeah" said another soft voice.
