Mandy gets 'the talk' Tiny Way Of Life chapter 16 by copier · original author: matheson

It takes Mandy's mother a while to come to terms with what happened. She still isn't really sure if she should let her daughter think that what she is doing is a good thing. She does appear to be enjoying an awful lot, though. She wonders what he must have done to deserve this kind of punishment. Being eaten alive, crazy.

She eventually comes to a decision. If Jenny has permission to eat her father, that's all well and fine but she doesn't want her daughter to have any part of it. She's too young to get anything good out of all this weirdness. She waits until later in the evening, when Jenny's father will be... expelled, before telling it to her.

She had Jenny go in to the bathroom afterwords and clean the little man off while she took Mandy back into her bedroom. Mandy was always easy to upset, so she was as gentle as possible as she told her daughter that she was to no longer eat that little man. When Mandy asked why, she had to think of a reason to fit the situation. "Because... eating someone is special. You can only do it if both people love each other..." 'Did I really just say that?', Mandy's mother thinks to herself. Mandy looks up at her mother, "So Jenny can do it because she loves her family?" "Err... yes dear, that's right." Mandy goes quiet for a moment then smiles, "I hope I find a tiny person to love some day!" Mandy's mother laughs nervously as she plays out that grim imagery of the future.

Satisfied with the talk, Mandy's mother leaves the room. As she walks out, she passes Jenny. The little girl looks like she is up to no good, as she walks by, holding her struggling father. Poor guy.

Does Mandy's mother interrupt them?
