With a heavy sigh, you again pick which outcome you least want to avoid. With that in mind:
"Okay, you've made your case. Tien seems-" you mentally stop yourself, just in time, from calling the timid child's mother an overbearing bitch; "-pretty demanding, and I do want those clothes..."
"Yay!" Sora tries, but fails miserably, to hold back her excitement, pumping her fist in the air as she celebrates in front of you. Immediately, she starts reaching out her palm, flat-out, as if inviting you to step on. "Don't worry, Stevie! Just a few quick trips to my tummy, and we'll get you some great clothes for sure! Just think of it like kind of a two-way slip-'n'-slide, and you'll be-!"
You cut her off. "No, no-nononono!"
Again, you have to be thankful that she actually pays enough attention to what you're trying to say, that she stops when you start talking, even though your diminutive voice could never hope to overpower hers. "I've seen enough of your gut for one day, alright? Friends don't dunk friends in vomit all the time."
"But you're-" my pet, Sora stops herself from blurting out. "Um... used to it?" She lies. "So, since it'll impress my mom..." She bites her lip, looks down, and fidgets.
"We'll do that with- with your first idea." You grimace. "First, could you get me something to wear already? Just, like, a napkin or something would be fine?"
"Oh!" Sora looks a bit surprised for a moment, and then giggles behind her hand a little. "You sure? You had one yesterday, and then you threw it away and..."
*Slop!*
With a loud, meaty sound, she smacks her lips at you, then leans in with a gentle exhale, slowly licking around them. You freeze in surprise, and can only stare as the huge, pink tongue pokes out of her approaching grin, tracing a slow, wet path from one corner of her mouth to the other. Then it's right in front of you, and-"
"Mmm... *Nom*~!" She opens wide in front of you. You get a brief glimpse at the shining, saliva-covered maw you've spent so much time in lately, down the throat you keep ending up traveling through, the powerful tongue pulled back and twitching side to side, as if to invite you in - and then it snaps shut in front of you, blasting you with Sora's hot breath as she gulps dramatically, then mockingly taps a finger on her throat.
"Yummy," she giggles, catching you starting at her neck. "Sure you don't wanna take another ride~?"
"I- I'm sure!" You hug your knees tighter to your chest and turn aside hotly, inexplicably embarrassed, even though you hadn't actually done anything to be ashamed of - right? She was being childish, and you were putting up with it. That's it. As the adult in the room, it was your responsibility to take the high road and be patient with her...
"Okay, Stevie. If you say so~." She pats you on the head, then leans forward and gives you a thankfully-contactless air kiss on the head. "Mwa~! Be right back!"
Phew, you think, relaxing greatly as she gets up and leaves the room.
Thankfully, while a less sophisticated mind than yours might think of her recent behavior as somehow flirtatious, in some kind of strange way, you're made of sterner stuff. Sure, you may be just eighteen years old, but already your life of hardships has resulted in a mind sharp and logical enough to recognize that, putting all circumstantial factors aside, the objective truth is that interactions like this last one with Sora were of a strictly less overfamiliar and physically explicit nature than, say, most of your exchanges prior to discussing boundaries the day Tien showed up, and-
"Here ya go!" Sora comes back, holding out a napkin, which she bends down to drape over your still huddled-up form. Cheerfully, she asks, as you pull it over yourself and carefully wrap up before standing: "So, ready to lick my feet?"
...
Of course, Sora's just kidding about you actually licking her feet. She says as much after teasing you a bit when you flatly reject the notion, and there's no reason to doubt her...
In any case, you don't need much 'training' to have set up a routine for Tien, showing off what a good, obedient little pet you are.
You're not some kind of dog that needs to have things painstakingly hinted at until you happen to guess what some new command's supposed to entail, you're a human being with a relatively advanced vocabulary and a pretty sharp imagination. The whole skit ends up being your idea, with Sora being the one who takes your instructions on what commands to give you, and in what order, to most efficiently convey to Tien that you're cooperative enough for her to cut you some slack already.
It only takes a few minutes to have a plan of action for the whole thing, really. For the rest of the next few hours remaining in the day, you just hang out. Tutor Sora through her homework, play comical little role-playing games that don't involve stakes of any kind, tell stories, etc. "What was your weirdest friend like, before you went missing?" Sora asks, lying down on her bed with her arm propped up, you leaning back against her fingers on the palm of that same hand.
"The weirdest friend..." you muse, rubbing your chin as you look out towards the window, taking in the skyline. "Actually, hold on. Could you take me to the window for a bit, first?"
"Huh? Sure." Sora sits up carefully, so that you're barely disturbed in your position in her hand as she does so. "Do you need some air? I could open it, but there might be bugs..." She sounds uncertain, as she carefully walks you over.
"No, not that. I just haven't seen a sunset in a while."
"..."
She goes completely silent, as she extends her hand to the windowpane. And then:
"Awww~!"
"Wh- no! Hey!" You object, flustered, as you're suddenly shoved forward as she leans in and starts rubbing her cheek against you. "Don't be weird, okay!? Stop that!"
"Nope! You're too cute~!" She keeps on rubbing you against her cheek, against your protests, when a knock on the door causes her to suddenly freeze and tighten her grip around you. Before you can process what's happening, you're suddenly whipped around to the small of her back, as she turns to face the door, hiding you behind her.
"Sweetie?" You hear Tien's voice following the sound of the door opening, just as you both come to a stop. "How's it going in there? Everything alright?"
"Mhm!" Sora's voice answers back, with forced cheerfulness.
Tien's voice comes back with a slightly artificial sweetness of its own, as if she can sense that her daughter's hiding something. That said, what comes next is a torrent of Vietnamese, and the only word you can make out is Stevie. At that, Sora's hand suddenly lets go of you, and you just barely keep yourself from screaming as you fall all the way down to the carpet behind her.
"He's right here. I was just teaching him some things!" You hear Sora lie, as you pick yourself up just in time for her to step aside, giving you and Tien a clear view of each other. She narrows her eyes at you in suspicion, when Sora chirps: "Watch this: Stevie, sit!"
You immediately sit down, and see her mother cock her head in interest, and then-
"Stevie, bark!"
"Arf!"
"Roll over! Stay!"
You play along, and make a show of humiliating yourself in front of the suspicious woman, who thankfully seems to relax more and more as you go through the routine. Then, Sora walks a few paces away, and:
"Stevie! Come gimme a little kiss!"
She sets her hand on her hips and juts her chin out, in a comical mimicry of someone far more mature and self-confident than the shy little girl she was, and points one foot out in your direction. You catch a glimpse of Tien covering her mouth in surprise as you swiftly turn around and run off, reaching Sora's extended toes, and start to plant stage kisses on top of it. No way in heck were you ever going to actually demean yourself with the real thing, so the two of you had already worked out how to put on a good enough show for Tien's liking.
"Now bark!"
"Arf! Arf!"
"Good boy! Now gimme some big kisses!"
The grand finale. Sora's played her part perfectly, as have you; you couldn't ask for a better stage partner. You approach your fellow thespian's outstretched toes to pantomime licking them when, suddenly, you feel yourself freeze up as the sound of footsteps echo behind you. A moment later, you're covered in shadow, and cold sweat breaks out over your shoulder as you turn to the side to look right at Tien, who's walked over and bent right down to get a close look at you at work.
"What's he do next, sweetie?" Tien asks, as you freeze up momentarily with uncertainty.
"I-" Sora's voice wavers slightly, as if she's also caught off-guard by this unexpected development, and then:
"-I said big kisses, Stevie!"
She's clearly forcing herself, so you do too.
"Oh, that's adorable!"
Sora tries not to squirm as she feels your tongue on her foot, then tugs on her mother's sleeve as she laughs and stands up, praising her work with you. "So can we get him some clothes, so I can- do more, with him?" She pleads at Tien, as you stand back up and try to get over the taste of salt in your mouth.
Wait. What?
"They'll have to be all-synthetic, I'm sure." She answers coyly, smirking.
"Whaddaya mean?"
"Nevermind. Let's talk in the morning about what to get, and then I'll order it, okay?" Says Tien. She leans in, and kisses her daughter's forehead. "Now, I came to take Stevie to bed..."
"Okay, you've made your case. Tien seems-" you mentally stop yourself, just in time, from calling the timid child's mother an overbearing bitch; "-pretty demanding, and I do want those clothes..."
