Friday. I have to go to school today." Tiny Way Of Life chapter 7 by copier · original author: danksubs

"Friday... Ugh, I can't skip any more days either." Jessie puts her palm to her head, must be some headache. She eyes you as you look up at her from the counter. "You all done?", she asks. You shrug, "I guess so. You... don't happen to have any dolls, do you?" She makes a grimace and raises an eyebrow at you. "Planning to play house or something?" "No, I was just hoping I wouldn't have to wear a towel all day", you reply. "Oh... um... no, sorry. You're about a decade late on that one." "I figured, worth a shot to ask", you say.

Jessie lowers her hand down to you but pauses. "Should I grab you, or..." "you can grab me, don't worry. I'm tougher than I look." Jessie then wraps her fingers around you gently and lifts you up. "I should have guessed that, seeing as how you made it all the way through me", she says as the two of you leave the bathroom and move through a hallway. She turns a corner and enters a room on the left. The walls were light blue with a rough looking mural of a tree painted on the wall. Stacks of drawing books litter a nearby desk. You see a couple drawings, but she puts you down onto her bed before you can get a good look.

"I assume you'll need a ride, right?", she asks. "Yeah, if you don't mind", you say. "Okay, hang on for a sec", she says as she kneels and fishes into a backpack next to the bed. "I can put you in here until we get to school." She looks at her alarm clock on a nightstand next to the bed. "I'm probably going to be late. Sorry", she says as she goes back into her backpack. "It's alright, I'm more worried about getting to my stash of clothes than coming in late." She didn't give a response, her attention focused on dumping various notebooks out of her bag.

Finally, she lifts her bag and drops its massive weight down next to you. "Okay, I think there's enough room for you now." She plucks you up and drops you into the entrance, on top of a chemistry textbook. You look around and see that the bag is still full of papers and various clutter. The light dims and, as you look up, you see Jessie zipping the bag closed, save for a small hole at the top. "I'll let you out when I get to the front entrance, try to get comfortable", you hear her muffled voice say through the fabric. The books and notebooks shift around you as she lifts the bag, sending you tumbling to the bottom of the bag.

Each step bounces the contents of Jessie's backpack around you. You end up having to cling to the side to keep from being crushed. Being trapped in the dark confines of the bag reminds on you too much of your position earlier this morning; you try to focus what's going on outside to block out the memory. It's difficult to tell, but you know that she's been walking for a bit. Then you distinctly hear a bus and experience the chaos inside the bag as she jumps up the steps and grabs a seat.

Some time passes and finally you feel the bus stop and hear the voices gathering in intensity. As Jessie hops down the steps of the bus, you get knocked down under a textbook and pinned down. You try to push it off you but it's far too heavy to move. For the next couple minutes, you struggle against the weight until finally managing to slide yourself out from underneath. You notice that your towel is missing and fish around for it at the bottom but can't find anything. You sigh in frustration as you keep looking.

After what feels like forever, you give up. It's too dark to find anything in here, there's just too much junk! That's when you realize that Jessie hasn't let you out, yet. There hasn't been any movement in a while. You climb up to the top of the bag and push yourself through the small gap. You're in a what seems to be a locker. She forgot about you! Sliding out the rest of the way, you explore the confined space until you luckily find a rusted hole in the corner. You push your way out and hit the cold tile below.

You need to make your way to your own locker and get a change of clothes before someone catches you. Looking around, you realize that you are...
