Facing Tulip in the morning Tiny Way Of Life chapter 30 by copier · original author: matheson

You decide to give sleep another shot. After a half hour or so, you finally nod off.

The next morning, you release a mighty stretch and get out of bed. You put on some clothes and enter the kitchen. Your mom lifts you up to the table, but not before scolding you for leaving your food on the table last night. "Do you want ants? Because that is how you get ants." "No..." you reply. You wouldn't have been able to throw away the food yourself, but you know better than to argue with your mother. She can be as cruel as Tulip when she's upset.

You walk up to your plate and watch your mother drop some eggs onto your plate while eyeing you carefully. You'd better finish your plate this time around.

You dig into the food and find yourself thinking about Vanessa again. You look over at Tulip. How are you going to convince her to tell you where Mercedez lives... Tulip catches your stare, causing you to look away. Knowing her, she won't just give you the information outright. You'll probably have to trick her into telling you. You look over at her again, wondering what to say.

You are the last one to finish breakfast, since you force yourself to clean your plate. Feeling bloated, you get down from the table and head back to the living room. Tulip, dressed for school, is waiting for you around the corner. She snatches you up and sits down with you on the couch. "See something you like, bug?" This is your chance, you decide. Better make it good. "I was just reliving that day with your friends..." you say, acting nervous (it doesn't take much acting).

"Oh, yeah?" she says with a wicked smile.

What do you tell her.
