You decide to stay. You aren't sure where you are, and you're still curious about why Mercedez' sister decided to take you with her to work. Half an hour goes by, before you hear the woman say, "hey, Derek. I'm going to take a break for a few minutes, okay?" "Yeah, sure. Just don't take too long," a voice responds. You hear the familiar squeaks of doors opening and then what you think is a stall locking. Light peeks in as the woman undoes the buttons of her shirt. The shirt then spreads apart and you find yourselves staring at one another in a restroom stall.
"Hey, cutie! You're awake!" she says in excitement. You feel like you just got caught with your hand in the cookie jar. All you can manage to do is put on a guilty smile and nod your head up and down. Neither of say anything for a minute, until you break the ice. You dig your hand out of the cleavage and wave. "Hi," you say, "err.. my name is Steve." She nods at you knowingly, "I figured that out when I found you this morning. There aren't many of you tinies out there, you know." "... fair enough," you respond. She then explains, "when I turned on my lamp, I noticed you laying there." She pinches her fingers in front of you. "I was this close to freaking out, until I realized you weren't a bug. I was about to take you out, but you looked like you were really enjoying yourself... so I decided to let you stay a little longer." You blush pretty hard as you say, "Oh... Uhm... Thanks?..."
"Let's just say that you owe me one, eh?" she laughs. You force yourself to laugh with her. Even though you don't seem to be in any trouble, you still can't help but feel like this is really awkward. You speak again, "so, yeah, uhm..." You think for a moment, "what is your name, again?" "Oh, right! I forgot." She extends a finger to you, "Hi, I'm Vanessa." You grab her finger and give it a shake. "Hi," you respond before continuing. "So... Vanessa, do you think you could give me a ride home?... after work, that is."
You think you see a hint of disappointment in her expression as you ask. "Yeah, sure. I'll take you home right after I change. It'll only be another hour or so, today is only a half-shift. Where do you live?" You give her your address, which she pops into her phone. "Oh!" she says as she reads the directions, "I'm supposed to show up at a party after work that's on the way there. Do you mind if we stop there for a few minutes first? We won't be there that long, and then I can drop you off after." She stares down at you as she waits for your answer.
