Mercedez walks in holding some string and a glass of soda, and sets them on the table next to you. As you are staring at the string Tulip pushes you down and puts her index finger against your back, pinning you against the table. "Hey!", you shout and try to push free from the table without any success. "Hurry up and tie him", she says. The other girls giggle as Theresa, one of Tulip’s friends, ties a string around your waist and double knots it. She tugs at it to make sure it's tight. Satisfied, she smiles and says "He's all ready to go."
Tulip takes her finger off of your back, allowing you to get up. You tug at the string around your waist, it's too tight to slip out of and the knot is too tight to undo. You look up at the girls and ask, "Okay... So why the string? Are you going to walk me or something?" This makes them laugh, it wasn't really a joke but whatever... "Oh, it's much more fun than that." sneers Tulip. "Ready girls?" They all nod their heads up and down and look between each other.
Their arms all extend toward you and you put your hands up in a defensive posture. The hands move over and past you, and you turn around to see them reach into a bowl at the center of the table and each pull out a blueberry. Pulling their arms back, they bump the berries together as if to say 'cheers', and eat them.
The girl you know as Olga grabs the end of the string and lifts it... and you... up to her face to get a good look at you. As you lift upward you struggle to get in a better position but the string around your waist forces you to dangle there. "We are going to play a little game, here are the rules," she says. Her words bathe you in hot air from her mouth, which would be soothing if it didn’t make you so uncomfortable. She continues, "we each swallowed a blueberry, and your job is to get each one back out."
You take in the full meaning of what she is saying and your eyes widen. "You wouldn't!", you shout in protest. She clears her throat which silences you, and continues, "once you are down there and get the blueberry, tug on the string and we'll bring you back up. If you manage to get all the berries, you'll get a prize. If you don't... you'll stay in there until nature decides you're ready to leave.
"So... who's first?", she asks. The girls bicker among themselves for a moment while you hang there.
They finally decide on…
