After a couple minutes of crawling you think you're near her throat, but suddenly you hear an extremely loud noise that almost resembled an explosion. It comes from all around you, and before you know it you are shaken by another, louder sound, this time Tulip's body seems to jerk, and you feel her esophagus start pulling you back down.
Tulip coughs a couple times in her sleep and instinctively swallows. She doesn't wake up from the coughing, but it lightens her sleep. She rolls over and feels an odd tingle in her belly, and her eyes begin to open.
You land back in her stomach, and before you even have time to move she shifts and you're sent tumbling across the ground. You stood up in the small amount of goop that was pooling around you and are about to pound the wall, but she moves again causing you to slide down to the stomach floor. A rubbing sound comes from somewhere in front of you, followed by a voice.
Now awake, Tulip sits up and scratches her stomach. "Still in there? My lunch wasn't very big so I figure it would have passed through by now."
"Yeah, well, it did," you shout back in reply.
"Part of it, at least. You must really like being inside me if you made the effort not to get pulled deeper into my gut. Maybe I'll just leave you in there."
You reply back with snark of your own. "Sure, I mean, as long as I'm in your stomach you can't torment me like you usually do." Of course, you want out of the stomach, and you hope this will trick her into getting you out now. You'll still be in her clutches, but at least you'll be out of her body.
Tulip thinks to herself "yeah, we'll see about that." She takes a breath and prepares to regurgitate you, but pauses.
The stomach squeezes itself together around you, the fleshy walls rippling around your body. You recognize this movement as regurgitation. But it only lasts a moment before the stomach returns to it's normal, undulating state.
"I guess you're right," she says and sighs. You can't see it but she's smiling slyly and rolling her eyes. She hops out of bed and continues, "you win this time."
"What?!" you yell after recovering from being tossed about by her sudden movement.
"Yep, I just can't get to you as long as you're inside me. So you're safe until you come out."
"And when is that supposed to be??"
"How can I say? You're the one who chose to stay in my belly. Maybe you will stay in me forever?"
Despite her surrender, as long as she's awake she's in full control. You can't climb her stomach wall enough to reach the esophagus, and even if she lays down she could easily just swallow you back down if she feels you. And her pylorus will just push you back out if you try to force your way into her intestine, you have to wait for her to eat and digest a meal to get pulled through.
Tulip knows this as well. So she intends to make sure she doesn't eat anything for as long as possible to keep you trapped in there. "Now, what time is it?" she asks herself and looks at the clock.
