The Burning Tiny Way Of Life chapter 12 by copier · original author: fearboy

Raw, unfiltered pain courses through your whole body. Reaching every inch of your mass with new levels of agonizing pain. A memory surfaces as you nearly pass out of a similar punishment your sister had put you through. Your mind goes back to the day where you had been put in a hot pan of oil that your sister had brought from cooking class. She put you in the boiling oil and let you swim in the searing liquid for a good ten minutes before pulling you out with a strainer. That had been a horrifying experience, but had only left you with small first-degree burns on your body. Today you don’t think you are going to be anywhere near as lucky.

The pain becomes too much and you have to scream. However, as your mouth opens, searing acid fills your mouth and enters your stomach. You gag and thrash as acid fills your belly. Closing your lips seems like the best thing now, but you can’t seem to get them to close. You catch your reflection in the reflected walls of the test tube. You can see the reason that you can’t close your mouth. Most of your face has dissolved. Your mouth has become a skeletons smile, without lips of any sort. Large clumps of hair fall from your head, floating in the acid before dissolving. You try to look away from your reflection, not wanting to see the horrible state of your own flesh. But you can’t move, your arms have gone completely numb from the acid. The only way to escape the sight of your melting flesh is to close your eyes, but you don’t even get that luxury. Your eyelids are dissolving into nothing. A horrible sight that is all you can see.

The agony won’t stop, it only gets worse and worse. Parts of your body that have gone numb now have feeling again, nevertheless the only feeling your getting in pain. Your body sinks further down the test tube, until you sit on the bottom praying for anything to stop the pain, even death. The acid has grown murky, turning pink from your flesh melting off. You can still see through the thick liquid to the outside, where three gleeful faces watch you suffer gleefully. Their eyes filled with malice for your very life, wanting to only see you suffer. You aren’t sure why they hate you so much, two of them you’ve never met before. Whatever their reason is for hating you, it can’t justify this living hell that you can’t escape. Slowly things are starting to dim, which is frightening because you are physically unable to close your eyes. Maybe your eyeballs are starting to melt next. Things go dark, but you swear that you can hear little girls laughing cruelly.

..............

Everything becomes bright again, you can see and hear and the pain is gone. Maybe you died and this is heaven, where you aren’t tiny anymore or being horrible abused by bored thirteen year olds. Those dreams of a happy heaven are shattered when you hear the high-pitched voice of your evil sister. “Holly crap, that acid stuff is strong. Look what you did to the bug!” The happiness in your sister’s voice worries you, what did that acid do? You’re still alive, so she isn’t celebrating your death. That only leaves you being horribly disfigured by the acid. Tears would come pouring from your eyes if you had the ability. Right now, it seems your body is numb, which is still much better then pain. “I told you didn’t I,” Theresa replies. The Asian girl looks down at you proudly, like the acid was something she created. “Melts through pretty much anything, didn’t I say that?” Your sister snickers darkly. “You sure did. But I never expected this to happen.”

Now you’re really scared. What happened? Where are you? What did the acid do to you? The first good look you give your surroundings offers the identity of your location instantly. Your still in the bottle, floating around like nothing happened. Whatever happened to you seems to have left you impervious by the acids affects. That would be good if you knew what had happened to you. You look around you, focusing on the shiny wall of the bottle. Everything freezes for you when you see what had happened.
