You can't see anything while behind Tulip's back, but after a moment of silence you hear your mother say, "Tulip, please be more gentle with your brother." "We were just playing," Tulip argues. "I wasn't hurting him, honest. I'm just so bored." Yeah right, you think. You start to yell out your side of the story, "'playing' my butt! She was-", your shouts are cut short by a quick squeeze from Tulip.

Your mother, Nikki, turns back around, placing the blue dress back among the others. She has a party to go off to later tonight, and she needs to find something fun to wear. She already found a couple that were pretty nice, but she just wants to check a few more sections... "This shouldn't take much longer, just be patient," she says. After a slight pause she turns to her daughter, "I'll tell you what - if you're both good, I'll take you both out for ice cream after I'm done." Tulip sneers, but agrees anyways. "Okay...", she grumbles. Nikki smiles, proud of her little angel for being so patient. "Steve...?" she asks, hinting at Tulip. Tulip quickly pulls her little brother out and presents him to Nikki. Nikki bends down to make sure her son has her full attention, and asks "Steve, are you going to behave?". She gives her son a stern face when she asks, she loves him and all his tiny-ness but he does seem to have a knack for getting into trouble. She is just thankful that Tulip is around to look after him the way she does.

Your mother's face looms right next to you. You want to say something about Tulip's handling but you can tell by her face that she isn't in the mood for complaints. "Yes, ma'am", you respond reluctantly. "Good boy", she praises and pats you on the head with her finger. Satisfied, she goes back to shopping, leaving you with Tulip again.
You turn around to see Tulip's face, clearly not happy with your little outburst.
