Chela took a step forward when all of sudden she felt off balance and stumbled a bit! She was able to rebalance herself. Then she felt dizzy as her world began to spin. Her right hand on her head as she also had a headache.
"Was that a spell or worse...a curse...." Chela thought.
Her vision was a bit blurry but she was able to focus. She slowly made her way towards Baldia's work desk. In Baldia's room was full of large tomes and books. Mostly curses since it was her specialty along with weird objects in jars upon rows of shelves. Chela was able to reach Baldia's work desk as she turned around and leaned on it.
"Maybe this is only temporary....to disorient an intruder. I can sense the curses in the room but they're not affecting me..." Chela said to herself.
*Groan*
A surprised Chela looked down at her belly. Then she noticed something happening to it. Baldia was still in a state of hibernation due to her exhausting her mana. Chela had used a spell to keep Baldia from accessing her mana reserves which were in her womb where Baldia was. Chela kept focus.
"No! No! No! This can't be happening!" Chela thought in shock as she realized what was happening. " Don't tell me Baldia planned ahead for this!"
Chela could feel her body get heavier as Baldia's infant outline slowly began to disappear! Chela's belly rounding out more as amniotic fluids and placenta magically formed inside of Chela's womb causing Baldia to float. An amniotic sac formed around Baldia. Chela could feel her belly grow larger, heavier and wider luckily she had her clothes redone but not for this! Chela groaned as she gripped the desk she was leaning on,breathing heavily.
"Great...now I'm pregnant with Baldia...if this is her immortality ability, I can see why." Chela said to herself taking notes. "There has to be a way to undo this...all spells do except some spellblades..."
Chela slowly moved forward, cradling her belly as she began to search Baldia's room for answers. Hoping to get Baldia out of her instead of giving birth to her.
"I'd bet she's after my elven blood to add to her own.. luckily I casted a spell to prevent that!" Chela thought as she smirked. "So heavy!"
