"Huh? They can't see Baldia is inside of me?" Chela thought in shock.
She watched her friends talk to each other. None noticing her larger belly in her blouse and skirt. She looked down and saw that it had poked out so it was clear as the day! Chela refrained from touching her belly for the meantime despite feeling slight movements from Baldia who was asleep at the moment. Chela cleared her throat.
"Yeah, I battle Baldia. She ambushed me with flying maskes with curses. Somehow I was able to force her to escape." Chela explained. It was a half lie, half truth.
"Then we should go after her!" Nanao yelled as she began to rush back in but was held back by Oliver.
"We can't do that!" Oliver yelled.
"Why not, Oliver? She's weaken, she attacked us! Now's the time to defeat her!" Nanao yelled back, distraught and confused.
Chela sighed as she shrugged and shook her head. "You know if we might get caught by the patrols from the senior Members. But not only that, there are some dangerous senior members lurking inside of here." She explained.
"I've heard about it but who?" Guy asked confused.
"Cyrus Rivermoore and Ophelia Salvadori." Chela answered in a serious tone. Her arms crossed above her belly, beneath her chest.
Katie, Guy and Pete shivered at hearing those names. Clueless as usual, Nanao asked. "Why? Who are they and why are they dangerous?"
"I've heard bad rumors about them from Vera-senpai!" Katie answered.
"Y-yeah...I think we should retreat for now. I don't wanna be capture by either of them!" Guy followed up.
"Especially Ophelia, it's bad for boys like us!" Pete added.
"That settles it. Seeing Chela is tired from battling Baldia, let's go back to camp and the dorms." Oliver said.
"Aw! But is such a waste of a good opportunity!" Nanao groaned in dissatisfaction.
"She's weakened so I kinda doubt she'll get far!" Oliver said, trying to cheer up Nanao.
They all began to walk back to their camp. Chela unaccustomed to carrying Baldia in her womb.
"Are you really okay, Chela?" A worried Katie asked.
Chela smiled and rubbed Katie's head. "Yeah..the battle with Baldia was intense so I depleted some of my mana and stamina."
They quickly made their way back to the academy after sensing patrols. Pete, Guy, and Oliver went to their dorms. Chela, Katie and Nanao went to their dorms. Chela had a room to herself and checked if her father was inside of nearby. Sighing in relief she entered her room, closed the door and locked it.
Chela tried to push Baldia out of her but to no avail. Chela got on to her bed, into a birthing position and tried to push Baldia out of her. After a few futile attempts, she stopped.
"Did she seal herself inside of me. Or is it due to a curse she used on me..." Chela asked herself as she looked at her large belly. She could see the infant outline of Baldia.
Chela slowly got out of her bed to take a bath, being all sweaty from her battle with Baldia as well as the walk home carrying her.
