Battle with the spellblades!

It was late at night as the seven Spellblades were enjoying themselves as they walked back to an exit to go back to their dorms. Just then Oliver and Chela (Michela) sensed something off.
"Everyone get ready!" Oliver yelled startling his other friends as Chela and Oliver withdrew their swords.
"It's a cursed being." Michela followed up.
"W-what's going on?" Katie asked worriedly.
"At a time like this!" Guy mumbled.
"We don't have a choice. Anything goes around here!" Pete yelled.
"Come on guys focus! This one's quite strong!" Nanao said with a smile on her face.
The figure seems to be surrounded by a black for as it floated above the ground. It was in a black cloak but had long gray hair, a pale complexion and looked like a child.
"Phew. Instructor Baldia! You scared us! We thought you were a monster or something!" Michela said as she sighed in relief. Chela, Pete, Katie, Guy and Pete seemed to lower their swords but Nanao and Oliver kept their swords up.
"What's up with you two? It's the instructor probably here to help us get out!" Guy yelled in confusion.
"I sense blood lust from her!" Nano answered. Startling her friends even more as they raised their swords once more.
"My, my never expected to see McFarlane's daughter and the girl from the far east with colorless. My intention was asking Oliver Horn here." Baldia said in a cold demeaning manner.
"What is it, instructor?" Oliver asked. "Did she find out about Darius? I thought Gwyn-niisan and Shannon-niisan cleaned up after our fight!" he thought.
"I can smell blood on both you and Nanao. I have to suspect one of you on killing Darius." Baldia noted, surprising Oliver but he kept calm.
"Nanao's been through wars, Instructor! She should be off your list of suspects! And Oliver has been with us during the Instructor Darius's disapparence and supposed death!" Chela answered.
"Still doesn't explain the blood I smell from them." Baldia said.
"With we go with you or not, you're going to interrogate us, I assume." Oliver asked.
Baldia nodded, "Yeap, that way I have more experiments for my curses! I have an excuse now to get you!" She laughed causing uneasiness amongst his friends.
"I don't wanna be cursed!" Katie and Pete yelled.
"Looks like we don't have a choice! We have to battle!" Oliver yelled. "This is my chance to kill one of my mother's killers!"
The battle ensures as Gywn and Shannon watched from the distance. Dean was hidden and waited for the right opportunity to strike. Unfortunately, Pete and Katie couldn't take the overwhelming aura of Baldia's curse and had to retreat a bit further up along with Guy as they did their best to support their friends, Chela, Nanao and Oliver. Oliver handed Nanao and Chela a potion that Shannon created to help combat the curses should they come across a curse user. It was intense battle with curses, spells and the sound of swords clashing about. Nanao had used her colorless and Chela transformed into an Elf!
"Oh? An elf and a colorless? How intriguing!" Baldia said happily as the battle waged on.
Chela, Oliver and Nanao had to use uncursing potions from time to time as some curses launched by Baldia were sure-hit but one by one they were able to dispel each curse on Baldia's body further weakening her. Nanao subconsciously used her Spellblades once more startling Chela, Oliver and Baldia as she landed a critical hit on Baldia! A large gash across her body diagonally from left going down to her hip as Baldia staggered but stood up right.
"A Spellblades unknown to us? That's absurd but no matter! My immortality curse will heal me outright!" Baldia laughed as she raised her arms outward to show her curse doing it's thing. But they saw nothing as blood continued to drop to the cold stone floor.
"Huh? What gives! Why is my immortality curse not working?" A confused Baldia asked.
"Must be due to Nanao's Spellblade. Even she doesn't know what it does. It seems to stop the curse or something!" Oliver observed.
"Now's our chance!" Oliver yelled as they nodded but were stopped as a magic circle appeared below Baldia as the reflexively moved out of range.
"You think you have the upper hand! Just because you stopped my immortality curse from regenerating me doesn't me I can't curse myself again, fools!" Baldia said.
The saw the magic circle was indeed a curse seal as the seal began to draw itself on Baldia's body!
"Oh no! She's healing herself!" Katie yelled in fear but all couldn't move but watched as the large gash across her body healed up!
"Wait, there's something wrong with her!" Nanao pointed out as they looked at Baldia.
What was different with Baldia?
