Eiko groaned softly, putting one hand on her belly.
"Huh? Does my... does my stomach feel bigger? No, that can't be right... It's probably just my imagination," Eiko murmured, rubbing her slightly enlarged stomach through her clothes. Unfortunately for her, her belly had grown larger, though thanks to the growth not being too extreme yet she didn't realize it!
"I need to hurry up and find Yayoi, who knows what could happen to her, OR me out here!" One one hand, it was really bad losing a kid like Yayoi out here on the mountainside! And on the other... Eiko would feel way more confident having Yayoi at her side if they did run into any lingering spirits that needed to be dealt with!
At least for now the baby that had entered her seemed to be dormant. Or at the very least, it didn't seem bent on blowing her up like those creepy monster babies- the so-called 'Angels' from the Annunciation House, had been.
She just had to find Yayoi, and everything would be fine. Right?
Eiko felt her slightly expanded belly shifting through the fabric of her clothes, brushing against the tightening fabric... Unbeknownst to her, the baby inside of her was anything but dormant!
