Yayoi was about to suggest that they should go after the last Angel, as if they were able to defeat it it would be much easier to remove the curse on Eiko...
But before she could even open her mouth, Eiko, still sitting with her back to the tree, cried out!
"A-ack! I... Ooh-" Yayoi's eyes widened in alarm, her normally stoic expression slipping into one of alarm as her older cousin's belly suddenly expanded greatly, ripping through her sweater and forcing the waistband of her skirt down! Eiko was huge- bigger than any woman who was pregnant should've been! In fact... Yayoi would estimate that her cousin's belly looked like she was carrying twins... for a period of about 12 months! In other words- Eiko looked like someone who should've given birth by now, but had somehow held the babies inside of her! It could've only been the work of the two Angels inside of her, they had to be empowering the curse...
'This is bad... Eiko's really big... I don't know if any of the previous victims ever had more than one angel inside them...'
"Eiko! Are you alright?" Yayoi asked, her normally monotone voice showing a tinge of concern at the serious situation.
Opening her mouth, Eiko let out a shaky breath.
"I-I think so... My belly doesn't hurt, but... Oh God... I'm so big, Yayoi! H-how much time do I have left?" She whimpered, tears starting to appear in the corner of her eyes.
"It'll be okay. I didn't account for your belly swelling up like this, but we still have time. Even if the two Angels together are making the curse stronger, it took 10 full days to kill the previous victims. There's still time to remove the curse."
Eiko sniffled but nodded her head. She had to stay positive, panicking wouldn't help her or Yayoi right now. Awkwardly standing up- and swaying a little, God she was heavy- Eiko looked down at her huge, bare belly. Yayoi did the same.
The demonic faces hadn't appeared on her tight, round belly, but both she and Yayoi knew that the angels were inside of her, waiting for the curse to run its course so that they could be born.
"W-what now?" Eiko gulped nervously, trying to take some of the weight off her back by holding the underside of her huge belly with both hands.
