The duo headed back into the house. It didn't take them long to find the third Angel- Eiko nearly was forced to take it into her as well, after being knocked into the well by Saki. But Yayoi was able to get to her in time to destroy the third Angel with her dolls!

Yayoi saw Saki making a huge, ugly frown on her face, and realized that must have meant she'd broken the curse. Saki could only have been that upset if it meant that her plan and desire for 'salvation' had failed!

But behind Yayoi's back, who was now helping Eiko climb out of the well, Saki's frown had been replaced by a smile!

The angels had been destroyed, sure... but even with all three of them dead, it didn't mean that the curse was broken! Saki had a truly wicked idea- and she left Eiko and Yayoi alone for now.

Instead of trying to keep attacking the two, she went to the room where the altar was... and dug out the box with her mother's finger bone!

"If they can't find this... They can't... break the curse..." Saki laughed to herself. Taking the finger bone out of the box, she kicked the box aside before leaving the room.

Back with Eiko and Yayoi...

"Eiko, have the markings on your belly faded? It doesn't look to have shrunken at all." Yayoi asked. With all three Angels vanquished, the curse should have been broken.

Eiko undid the stretched-out buttons on her sweater so that her belly could be more easily seen.

What do her and Yayoi see?
1) The curse marks are still there. Yayoi realizes that the curse has another source... but what will she do now that Saki is trying to hide the bone?
2) The curse marks are there, but look duller now that all three Angels have died. Yayoi (mistakenly) concludes that the marks will fade with time, and that the curse has ended.
3) The curse marks are still there, and are glowing!
