The fast food restaurant that Izuna's kouhai pointed out was nearby. It was a small fast food chain so she entered it. It served a variety of western food products. She asked one of the clerks for the manager. Soon enough a middle aged man with the name tag that read "Ren" came up to her.
"Yes, I'm the manager." Said Ren, introducing himself.
"Hi, I'm Izuna Hazuki! I was wondering about the new item on the menu. I heard from a kouhai and would like to see the meat used in it." Izuna asked.
Ren looked at her skeptically. "You're not pregnant are you?"
Izuna sighed as she rubbed her belly, only to feel it was firm and taut!"I just at too much! Is that a crime? It's also for a school project why I'm researching on fast food!" Izuna said in a serious manner.
The manager was taken back as other people looked at the two. A bit embarrassed and flustered, he wanted to avoid any commotion that may cause his job.
"This way." Ren said, as he gestured her to follow her to the kitchen.
He began to explain all the processes of their products. It wasn't until Izuna asked about the certain product her kouhai mention that Ren was a bit concerned about.
"Well, you see, Izuna-san. Nobody buys it and we plan to take it off the menu." He explain. "The meat that we got was cheap so we thought we could make some money out of it."
"Can I see the meat?" Izuna asked. "This has to be it!"
Ren gestured her to the area where they make the burgers. There she saw two employees, a male and female working on making patties.
"Where's the meat used for our latest product?" Ren asked.
The male pointed it out at the table, furthest from where the work. There Izuna felt it's cursed energy emanating from it.
"What do you plan to do with it?" Izuna asked.
"Dispose of it. Such a waste." Ren said displeased.
"I'll buy it from you for cheap!" Izuna said. She couldn't say that it was cursed meat, not like anyone would believe her unless they believed in evil spirits and whatnot.
"Oh really!" Said the happy manager.
Izuna bought it for a cheap price. Just how big was the meat?
