"Uhhh... Kyoko? What's that on your neck?" Miki, her classmate, friend rival asked.
"Nuffin! Nuffin' out of th' ordnry!"
Kyoko's respone came up muffled, which surprised no one listening because the girl was currently scarfing down a large bento box- far larger than someone with her slender frame needed.
"Jeez, Kyoko, slow down. You aren't planning on becoming the youngest sumo at are school, are you?" Miki, her chuckle adding its own noise to the morning classroom chatter.
"That's not funny! I'm just a little hungry because I had a light breakfast!" Kyoko retorted indignantly.
Hiroshi didn't say anything, but the boy shared a look with Takahashi-sensei. The buxom, beautiful teacher was filling in for Nube... who wasn't hear anymore.
Ritsuko frowned. No matter how little food Kyoko had eaten in the morning, there was no way a girl of her size should be able to eat so much in so little time without getting sick. True, Kyoko did look a little green around the gills from polishing off the bento so quickly (on top of its huge size), but she didn't seem like she was going to barf anytime soon. The girl truly had a cast-iron stomach.
"Kyoko, you can't eat like that just after breakfast! You just got to school a half hour ago, you shouldn't be hungry again- ack!" Hiroshi fell back, narrowly avoiding a swipe from the irate blonde.
Ritsuko sighed and rubbed her head. Even a middle school boy should've known better than to open his mouth like that; there were certain things that you didn't say to a woman under any circumstance.
Turning away from the rambunctious trio, she made her way to the whiteboard. She'd been filling in for Nube-sensei for close to a month now, and she knew that she had big shoes to fill after his untimely exit.
Ritsuko sighed. The class was as noisy as ever, and the trio of Kyoko, Miki, and Hiroshi only added to the noise.
'Oh Nube-san... what would you have done if you were here?' the busty woman thought to herself.

1) Later in the day, Miki teases Kyoko, who is eating an oddly large amount of food (again.)
2) Knowing how much Kyoko misses Nube, Ritsuko offers to treat her to a meal after school. Miki and Hiroshi spy on them/tag along.
3) Just before school ends, one of Kyoko's classmates sees an odd discoloration on the back of her neck...
