Kyoko considered running away, but thought against it. That was just too cowardly, and as much as she felt unsatisfied in life she'd be damned if she left her students to fend for themselves in this situation!
Well, that and she was barefoot. She didn't want to run away on bare feet...
1) Kyoko makes a run for her car! Better to drive away than stay here!
2) Kyoko gets attacked by 'them' again, but her new, bigger body is much stronger, and she's able to fight them off! (Kyoko grows a couple inches every time she kills a zombie)
3) As she's standing there thinking, Kyoko starts growing again!
