"It's your turn, Ryuunosuke!" Hizuru said as she tied her hair into a long ponytail.
They were in front of the Koba store, owned by the Kobayakawa's. Shinpei and Nezu (Ginjiro) were at a side street to hide themselves from view. They were at the possible escape route in case Shiori, whom they suspect is the leader of the shadows. Shinpei noticed that Hizuru was on her phone.
"Does Hizuru have a spilt personality?" Shinpei asks.
"Why would you say that?" Nezu answered.
"Close but not quite." Nezu answered as he scratched his nose. "Ryuunosuke doesn't have Hizuru's memory which is why they record messages on her phone."
Hizuru was explaining the plan through her phone to Ryuunosuke as he listens to her recording. He is to go alone and not kill the Kobayakawas until they were certain that Shiori is indeed who they believe she is. Ryuunosuke makes his way up the stairs with Hizuru's suitcase and knocked where he is greeted by Asako who lets her in. He is then invented to dinner with Shiori scribbling on some coloring books. Ryuunosuke places Hizuru's suitcase on the floor where a shadow had eaten one of the Kobayakawas. He pulls out a hammer.
Meanwhile on the outside, Nezu explains that only Ryuunosuke can fight the shadows but didn't detail on Hizuru's ability to absorb them. A loud smack is heard as Asako is decapitated by Ryuunosuke's hammer strike.
"I'm sorry but I'll be leaving soon!" He said after striking Asako as her body flew towards the back of the house.
Tatsuo body begins to comfort and turn black as he screams for Asako and leaps to attack Hizuru with chopsticks.
