Throughout history, Monsters have been feared for being many things; deadly, vicious, evil, and above all else, man-eating. Of course, when the government came right out and told the world that the monsters of myth actually existed, such an ominous cloud was lifted as it became clear that in many ways, monsters were just like people. However, people cannot always be trusted, and as a result, the same goes for monsters. You know the age old saying that love makes people do crazy things? Well, once again, the same goes for monsters.

Within her room, all by herself, a very agitated and anxious Lamia had been pacing constantly for fifteen minutes straight. Slithering her scaly tail back and forth, each movement of her sultry hips wagged with more and more frustration. Miia was in pain, but then again, how could she not be? The man she loved lived right in this very house, but she couldn’t be with him. At some point, something had to give, “OOOOOH!!! I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!”

Fired roared around her as her tail slammed into the ground, which made the entire room shudder. If Kurusu had actually been home, he would no doubt have popped into the check on her. Fortunately, Miia was not going to tolerate being alone anymore, as she ranted to herself, “This is RIDICULOUS! I don’t care what some stupid old law says! Darling is mine and we should be together no matter what!” Her fist clenched tightly as she held it up, while a confident smile showed off her fangs. The young and beautiful monster knew that she could no longer stand idly by while she and her darling were merely friends. It was high time that they got together, damn the consequences!.....At least that would have happened, had Miia continued to ignore a rather obvious flaw with her seemingly simple plan. Apart from possible jail time, there were at least three other obstacles that stood between her.

One had wings and a really cute butt, another was half horse and sported the biggest tits she’d ever seen, and the last was the most romantic fish she had ever met. Papi, Cerea, and Meroune were in the same boat that she was, and wanted to be with Kurusu more than anything, Miia knew this. The same flare that was in her eyes before began to dim, and Miia’s fist loosened and fell.

“NO!!!” But then, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the fire within her was back, and raged even more powerfully than before. A large vein suddenly throbbed in Miia’s head, and she quickly eradicated the images of her friends, or obstacles as she then thought of them, “I can’t let those girls stop me! This isn’t some sappy harem manga! I’m not going to just wait around and see what happens! It’s high time that darling sees that I am the one he needs to be with….But how?” Truly, Miia’s determination was stronger than before, for even though the girls were her friends, she knew that she could no longer let that keep her from following her true feelings. GRANTED, she had never been quiet about her feelings for Kurusu, but the young monster knew that there had to be more that she could do. Now the only question was, how could see win her darling’s heart without having to worry about the competition?

“GRRRRRRRGLE!”

Miia suddenly blushed, and her attention went right to her belly after hearing that, and she moaned in frustration once again, “Ooooh, I’ve been so worked up about Darling, I haven’t even had lunch yet.” As she rubbed her trim tummy, the anxiety that still raged in her head suddenly gave her a wonderfully awful idea. It was only a flash, the kind of thought that people would discard without a second thought. HOWEVER, unlike with people, monsters could actually do what Miia had just thought about…and the more she did, the more she found that the thought wasn’t going away.

“Hmmm, I am really hungry. Maybe I could…No, wait! What am I saying?! I couldn’t possibly….but still….I wonder how they would taste.” She muttered to herself. There was a reason why people believed that monsters ate humans, and that was because they did. Of course, as both races became more ‘civilized’, such activities were frowned upon. Then again, as Miia thought, Harpies still abduct men to impregnate their all-female race to continue their existence, and if that kind of behavior was still accepted….could she really do this?
