Kodaka had a bad feeling as he arrived at the neighbors club early to meet with Yozura who had texted him to meet up as soon as possible. Whatever she wanted couldn’t be good. Her ideas tended to end with him either ending up annoyed or with a worse reputation then when he started. Kodaka was just an average guy, but his blonde and brown hair and a few misunderstandings had gotten him labeled as a delinquent. He had started the neighbors club with Yozura because she convinced him that she could help him rid himself of his bad reputation and gain some real friends. She had failed miserably so far and Kodaka doubted she would have any better results today.
“Hey,” he grumbled lazily as he entered the club’s room, seeing Yozura seated at the desk looking over some big, old looking book. She didn’t respond right away, only lifting her head after finishing the page she was on. She frowned when she saw Kodaka hadn’t come alone.
“What’s your sister doing here?” She asked and rudely pointed at the young blond standing beside Kodaka wearing a gothic style dress. Kobato, Kodaka’s bratty little sister, brought her finger to her cheek and made the deep chuckle that her favorite anime character always did in her show. “Foolish mortal, I heard about your message to my slave brother and have come to see what dastardly plot you’ve concocted.”
“Whatever,” Yozura sighed, not caring too much that the smallest blond of the club was tagging along. She had more important things to focus on. “I brought you here because I wanted to show you this book I found in the library. It’s full of spells and curses that you can inflict on people. Take a look.”
Taking the old book from Yozura, Kodaka paged through the old text, barely able to read the strange Latin words printed inside it. Kobato looked at it as well, curious if it could increase her pretend vampire powers. “So what, are you planning on curing Sena?”
“Well now I am, but I originally planned to find some spells to make us more popular. Now give it back, I want to see if I can turn Meat green.” Kodako pulled the book away from Yozura as she reached for it. He didn’t believe that the book had real powers, but he didn’t want Yozura to have it either. He handed the book to Kobato, who paged through the book, looking for any vampire magic.
“Is this book real? All the words I can read are gibberish. What the heck does Klaatu Barada Shrinkto even mean?” Kobato asked before a bright light suddenly surround the three of them. They vanished, their clothes falling to the ground in a pile and the book slamming face down on the floor. For a few minutes the room was completely still and silent, but then small, bulges started moving around under the clothes.
“What happened?” Kodaka asked as he pulled himself out from under his own shirt, which looked more like a fallen tent to the boy. Confused and scared, he peered around him, seeing the ceiling hundreds of feet above him and the table looming over them as tall as a building. Meekly he got out of his oversized clothes, standing only a couple inches tall, naked and still wondering what had happened.
“Big brother!”
Kodaka toppled over as his equally naked sister lunged for him, hugging him tightly as she cried into his chest. The first thing Kobato had done was run to her brother, looking for safety in his arms after finding herself like this. Not as embarrassed as he should be the have a naked girl pressing into him, Kodaka patted her head to get her to calm down. They needed to figure out just what the heck was going on.
“You bitch! You shrunk us!” To answer the siblings questions, Yozura stomped towards them, too pissed to care that she was naked, ready to strangle the little girl for accidently shrinking them. Kodako moved Kobato behind him, putting him between her and the near murderous Yozura. She stopped in front of him, her murderous anger forgotten when she saw he was naked. Blushing heavily, she turned around, becoming as meek as a mouse at the sight of her friend’s naked body.
“You stupid idiot! Cover up,” she stammered as she peeked over her shoulder before quickly looking away. Sighing at her mood swings, Kodaka covered up his groin with his hands and tried to talk to her. “Are you telling us that magic book actually shrunk us?”
Without looking at him Yozura nodded her head. Groaning loudly, Kodaka cursed his luck, of course the stupid book was real and now they were shrunken. Whatever could go wrong seemed to happen to him. Looking at his sister, who was more scared of Yozura then she was about being shrunken and then Yozura who was too embarrassed to even look at him, Kodaka wondered how they were going to fix this when the door to the room opened. Three pairs of tiny little eyes turned and looked up, way up, their mouths falling open at the sight of who had just come in.
“Eek! Mice!” A high-pitched voice squealed, nearly jumping back in terror before noticing that the mice looked just like three members of the club. Leaning down to look closer, the three of them all gulped at the giant face of….
