The sun had just broken the surface but it was still dark. Chifusa, the innkeeper and Kaede didn't get much sleep last night.
"Will she be okay?" Kaede asked as she double check her backpack.
"I'm sure the Manyuu will leave her alone." Chifusa answered. "Thanks for everything!"
"No, thank you!" Said the aged innkeeper as they bowed.
Kaede closed the door to the inn as Chifusa was waiting outside. Wearing her usual red kimono with a gray scarf around her neck, deep blue thigh guards, gloves with black arm guards. Her sword attached to her left hip but her clothes belt had been adjusted due to her belly.
"Is Momoha okay?" Kaede asked as she looked at Chifusa's belly.
"She's fine. Let's try to keep it discrete, okay?" Chifusa ordered as Kaede nodded.
They walked along the path and exited the town. Meanwhile Ooka was on her way back to the Manyuu mansion. She would still get her revenge on Chifusa but had to report her slaying one of the surviving Munamori clan. Unknown to her, she was saved by Chifusa, unbirthed.
