Getting shot with an alien ray gun, that was a new one for Ataru. Fists, swords, even real guns had attacked him, but getting shot at by a ray gun from Lum of all people was a new one of the unlucky teen. He whimpered as she pulled the trigger, wondering what new pain she would give him. Couldn’t be worse then the time she had grabbed him by the crotch and pumped as much electricity as she could into his junk. That had kept him down for a whole hour before he crawled off to chase some new tail.
The beam of light from the ray gun hit him. Instinctively, he recoiled back expecting the pain to hit him. No pain came and Ataru slowly realized nothing was happening, he opened his eyes again and pointed at Lum angrily. “Don’t do that!” He growled and then lost some of his anger when he realized he was staring strait in front of him at Lum’s belly button. Looking up, he stared past her tiger skin bikini covered bosom at her face. Lum was grinning triumphantly and still pointing the ray gun at him, keeping the beam of light pointed at his diminishing form. Ataru wasn’t the smartest guy, but he recognized what was happening right away.
“Your turning into a giantess!” He screamed as he shot down another foot and was staring at Lum’s crotch. A twitch developed in Lum’s eye at hearing her darling misunderstand the situation. She loved him dearly and wanted to be with him forever, but he could be a real clueless idiot at time. Ataru started screaming then. “Someone save me from the giant alien! Shinobu! Sakura! Ran! Hide me!”
Lum’s smile dropped as she heard her darling call out to all those other women. He just couldn’t behave himself, even when he was at her feet. She crouched down, watching Ataru wearily as he ran around in circles like a chicken without a head. She lowered her open hand right in front of him and he slammed face first into her palm. Reeling back, he stumbled around before falling to his butt. Moving her hand slowly, Lum pushed him down with her thumb and pinned him to the ground. Ataru struggled under her thumb, unable to get out from under it.
“Darling, stay still before you hurt yourself,” Lum sweetly suggested as Ataru struggled violently under her thumb. Seeing her troublesome husband so helpless literally under her thumb put Lum back into a good mood.
“Why should I? So you can hurt me you monster?” Ataru angry accused as he bit and punched at her thumb. His attacks didn’t hurt Lum, but his words did. Her smile dropped again and she became sad. How could her darling think she would hurt him, she only wanted them to be happy. Sadness was quickly replaced by anger as she glowered at her tiny husband. If he wanted to be a jerk, fine! She’d show him why he should respect his wife, especially when he’s in such a precarious situation.
“Maybe I will hurt you, darling,” Lum angrily spit, saying darling like it was a dirty word. She pulled her thumb off Ataru only to grab him by the leg. Lifting him up upside down, she rose to her feet and stared at the bug-sized human. He squirmed in her hand, feebly trying to escape even if it meant dropping hundreds of feet to the ground. She stared at his futile struggles as she walked over to his bed. Sitting down on the edge, she tossed him onto of her head. Landing in her silky green hair, Ataru grabbed hold of one of her yellow horns to keep from sliding off. With her hands free, Lum stared undressing. She was only going to tease Ataru, but after his hurtful remark, maybe something more aggressive needed to be done.
