Shuzo Matsutani was in hell. To be more exact, he should've been in hell. The real hell would probably outshine Hellywood, but Hellywood would give it a good run with its money. Ever since he had arrived in Hellywood, Shu's life has turned upside down. First off, he was only minding his own buisness when walking home from kendo pratice and spotted a girl sitting on the tallest smokestack of a disused factroy. He climbed another smokestack to talk to the girl that was admiring the sunset. And then, all hell broke loose. Snake-like machines and a rather cold woman appeared out of nowhere and kidnapped the girl--whose name was Lala-Ru. Shu got transported to Hellywood by accident. Once at Hellywood, Shu had grabbed Lala-Ru and made a break for it. The pair didn't get very far. Along the way, Lala-Ru's pendant had gone missing...and Shu honestly didn't knew where the pendant was now. He had lost it. And because of that, Shu was beaten-up. No matter how much he had said that he didn't knew the location of the pendant, Shu would recieve another crack from the whip...or another slap by the woman that was second-in-command of this place. Shu was worn out, and was in real danger of dying from the torture. He actually lost the abitity to tell what was real and what was fantasy. During one of his questionings, he must've slipped into one of his fantasies...only that could explain what had happened next. The woman that was always present at his beatings had asked to be alone with the prisoner. Then, something impossible had happened...or did it? The woman had opened her mouth impossibly wide and eaten him! How could that be possible? He must be loosing it. He was simply going crazy with all the torture he had to endure.
"He's lucky to be alive. He was in Abelia's stomach"
"Why she didn't digest him?"
"She said we needed more soldiers"
"You mean...?"
"Yep. He's in our corps from now on. I'm getting a bite to eat. Watch over him, Boo"
Shuzo Matsutani had woken up with a start. He had half-heard what had been said, but the words were jumbled to him. Shu found himself in a bed in a sizable room. He was wearing yellow clothing...looked like some kind of desert garb. The bed he was on was the bottom of a bunk bed. There was a kid--he couldn't have been older then six or seven--in the room with him. The kid was lazily handling a gun, not noticing that Shu had awaken. Shu had tried to move...but found it extremely painful, causing him to yelp in pain.
The kid with the gun whipped around to face him, pointing the gun right at him. Shu raised his hands, showing that he wasn't armed. His kendo stick was leaning against the wall opposite the bed he was on.
"Don't move!" barked the kid.
"I don't feel like moving anyway.." said Shu, yelping in pain again. He had wounds all over his body, and he felt like hell. "where am I, anyway?"
The kid didn't answer, but continued to point the gun right at Shu.
"Listen, would you mind not pointing that thing at me?" asked Shu.
The kid didn't respond.
"Listen, have you.." started Shu.
"Be quiet" said the kid in a much more softer tone than before.
Shu and the kid just stared at one another for what seemed like minutes. Shu looked the kid over. He couldn't have been older than seven! The kid was wearing the same desert garb that Shu was wearing.
"Have you heard someone named Lala-Ru?" asked Shu in a rush.
"Shut up" said the kid. "or I'll shoot ya"
"What...?"
The kid pointed the gun at the wall and shot the gun. BANG!
"Hey, what's happening?" asked another kid, entering the room. The new kid looked older...14 or 15. The new kid glanced at the bullet hole in the wall without comment. The new kid was carrying a tray of food. He brought the tray to Shu.
"Here. Eat and be greatful that we needed soldiers" said the new kid. "this is Boo, and I'm Nabuca...what's your name?"
"Shuzo Matsutani" said Shu. "most people call me 'Shu' though"
"Well, Shu" said Nabuca. "welcome to Hellywood"
