One of the few things Raven actually feared was what she would become as she got older. Being the daughter of a demon disturbed her and she always worried that eventually she would end up using her powers for evil and hurting her friends. Her team mates reassured her that would not happen and for the most part she believed them but there was a wavering doubt inside her that made her question herself.
The actions of demons were defined based on the seven deadly sins: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony. All demons engaged in these sins and as the daughter of Trigon, Raven thought she would be enveloped in one of these sins. For the most part she never experienced any of these but as puberty kicked in she noticed some subtle changes. Now and then she would notice how the guys stared at Starfire's revealing outfit and feel a twinge of jealousy or get too angry at Beast Boy for one of his pranks. Raven tried to cope with intensive meditating but it was clear to her that she would eventually be overcome by one of these vices.
Her fears were justified as she was maturing, her body and mind would start to change and focus on one of the deadly sins. As her body filled out she would one day find herself being overcomed with....
