"Oh? You can't reply to my messages but can date Darien?" Raye said, staring daggers. "Some friend you are! Choosing your crush over your cousin."
"What a minute! I couldn't go out that late! I just ran into Darien on the way here!" Serena blurted out.
"Sammy, good to see you too. Mind telling the truth?" Raye asked as she crossed her arms beneath her chest, just above her belly.
"I came along cause she asked Darien to come with her to you." Sammy answered.
"Sammy!?!" Serena yelled in shock.
"Well, it's the truth, Serena." Sammy said.
"Ha! I knew it!" Raye mocked as the two began bickering. Both Sammy chuckled while Darien sighed.
"Can we get on to the subject why we're here?" Darien asked as the two stopped and looked at him.
"Of course. We'll settle our dispute later." Raye smirked causing Serena to get angry.
Raye guided them to the living room.
"I'm gonna make some tea." Raye said.
After a few minutes, she came back with a tea set on a tray. She carefully placed the tea cups while maintaining balance due to her large front. All three noticed this as Raye slowly eased herself on to the floor, then poured tea.
Serena snickered, "Oh Raye? I've noticed you've been putting on weight! Guess your self proclaimed metabolism is fake huh?" Mocked Serena.
An anger mark appeared above Raye's forehead but she calmed herself. "I'll let that slide. We're here for Rini, right?"
"Oh yeah! What about Rini?!? You said she regressed to a baby! Where is she now?" Serena pleaded, clearly worried for her cousin (actually daughter).
"Yeah, when I heard from Serena I couldn't believe it myself." Darien followed up.
"Hey, here's her stuff." Sammy noted.
"Well, she was a toddler when I found her. Then when I took her home she became a one year old. Then the next thing you know she's in here." Raye explained as she pointed at her belly.
"WHAT?!?" All three yelled in unison causing Raye to stumble backwards but placed her hands behind her to keep balance. Her belly poked out.
"So...what you're saying you're pregnant with Rini, correct." Darien said calmly.
"Correct, somehow she had stopped regressing since being pregnant with her." Raye added.
"Aw...poor Rini...." Serena said sadly. But Serena eyed Raye's bigger bust.
"This is your fault. You were supposed to pick her up but you went food binging with your classmates." Sammy added.
"Sammy!" Serena yelled and cried.
"Figures as much. Avoiding responsibilities." Raye sighed.
"I'm not irresponsible! I just got carried away!" Serena explained.
"Oh sure! When it comes to food, you're a total glutton!" Sammy added as he snickered.
"Why you!" Serena yelled a she lunged at Sammy. Sammy was ready to fight back.
"Enough you two..." Darien said acting as the barrier between the two, holding Serena back. " Any explanation why Rini became like this?"
"Hmmmmm..... I can't ask her since she seems asleep. Her mind was still intact when I found her. It maybe due to an alien device or something." Raye surmised.
"Aliens?!? Again?!?" Serena yelled in shock as Raye glared at her to calm down. Darien pretended to be in shock.
"We don't have an explanation why Rini became like that." Darien added.
"True, I was hoping to contact Amy to help out but I can't reach her." Raye explained.
"I think she went to visit her grandparents in the mountains. With her parents of course." Serena said. "That's what I heard from her."
"Makes sense since reception is horrible up there.." Raye sighed. "We'll have to keep this a secret between us for now until Amy gets back."
The three nodded.
"Is Rini really okay in there?" Serena asked worriedly.
"Yes, she's fine Serena. She's quite heavy though. If you were pregnant, I'd bet you'd complain all the time." Raye mocked.
"True!" Darien and Sammy said in unison.
"Hey!" Serena yelled in anger but was teary eyed she was being singled out.
