"Oh thank goodness!" Rika said in relief.
"You didn't think I'd eat him, knowing you like him, did you?" Sakura said.
"Oh thank you so much, Sakura." Rika smiled.
"No problem. I don't mind you guys picking your meals."
Rika's expression turned from relief to shock. "No! I don't want to eat him!!"
Sakura just giggled at that. "Alright, you can have him for a pet then." She plucked Terada out of her knapsack and shrank him to the size of Rika's fist before handing him over. "Now, you are in charge of him. Make sure to keep him out of the way of my footsteps. And yours, for that matter."
Rika simply held Terada in her hand, stunned. He was even more stunned though, realizing he had been saved by his young girlfriend, now many times his size.
Tomoyo brought up a new subject. "Sakura, the police will be looking for everyone. What are you going to do?"
"I'll just say I was home sick today." Sakura replied with a grin.
Tomoyo nodded. "That will do for the police, but surely Li will suspect something."
"Oh yes! Li!" Sakura grin turned wicked. "I bet he'll be over here soon... he probably sensed that I used a lot of power. But before he gets here..."
