Note: In Outlaw Star, Duuz's race was called "Saurian" and the race was created through genetics. In Angel Links, Duuz's race are called Dragonite and it's a natural race, and not made by genetics.
The reason why Duuz Delax Rex was a vegetarian and not a carnivore was a big mystery to all the members of the Links group. Dragonites are usually carnivorios in nature and thier favorite food was Terrans. In Outer Space, there are several races that like to feast on Terrans; some prime examples are the Ctarl Ctarl and the Dragonites. In the case of the Dragonites, being a carnivore is nesscesary because of how thier bodies are built. A Ctarl Ctarl can go vegetarian, but a Dragonite HAS to have proteins from meat in order to survive. Yet, Duuz is a vegetarian and he shys away from any kind of meat. If Duuz is able to stay a vegetarian and live, he must be getting enough proteins in his vegetarian diet.
Duuz's past is also a mystery. Duuz hardly talks about what he did before he joined the Links group. If the subject came up, he would ignore it and talk about his crossword puzzles or his impressive fighting skills.
Meifon Li sipped at her tea while the Angel Links made its way through space. The Links Group was owned by the well-endowed 16-year old Meifon, and it was a security group that protected anyone from pirates..with no charge. This time, the Angel Links was guarding a cargo ship carrying zoo animals to be deilevered to the Oricaion system. Meifon hated escorting cargo ships and barges because nothing exciting ever happened on those missions. The only reason that she was doing this mission was because all of the animals on the cargo ship were endangered animals..so there was a slim chance that poachers might come and steal the animals away. The cargo ship was only armed with one machine gun, which wouldn't last long if a group of ships came to attack it. The cargo ship had dropped out of Sub-Ether Drive and entered the Oricaion about 15 mintes ago, and it was looking to be another dull escort mission.
Duuz was polishing his sword, as usual. Valeria was coloring her nails, and Kosei stood beside Meifon, Meifon was trying not to sleep out of boredom.
"We have a ship that dropped out of Sub-Ether a minute ago" said Ann. "it's currently behind us"
"Range?" asked Meifon.
"6000" said Ann.
"Could it be poachers?" asked Valeria.
"If they were, you think they would get that close to us?" asked Meifon.
"Ship now in visual range" said Ann. "I'll put it up on the screen"
On the screen, there was an average-sized red ship that had an orange star near the nose of it.
"Well, isn't this a small galaxy" said Valeria.
"You know that ship?" asked Meifon.
"We ran into each other on that Heifon mission you didn't go on becasue you were sick" said Valeria. "it's called the Outlaw Star...heed it no mind...Gene wouldn't cause trouble"
Duuz looked over the red ship carefully. Yes, that red ship did look like the Outlaw Star...but it wasn't. The Outlaw Star was a Grappler ship, but this ship wasn't.
