Tai had to find Kari and stop her from eating people...or getting eaten. Kari was her sister, after all, and shouldn't brothers protect thier younger sister? Tai had called everybody in the group he could think of. Izzy was just sitting down to dinner when Tai had called over to Izzy's apartment. Tai couldn't find any way to find Kari...unless...
Tai rushed into his bedroom and rumaged around for his digivice. Each of the digivices allowed thier digimon to digivolve and it acted like a homing becon to any other digivice nearby. Gatomon was still trying to get up, but kept falling over.
"Tai, will you help me?" growled Gatomon. "I want to help you look for Kari if you're so worried about her"
Tai ignored Gatomon and he pulled out his digivice from under a pile of dirty clothes. He activated the digivice and he switched it to the "becon" setting. Little red dots appeared on a map of the city, those little red dots were other digivices. He scanned the map until he spotted two dots all by themsleves. Kari was at Izzy's apartment! Izzy was sitting down to dinner when Tai had called over there..and Kari would be desert!
He rushed out of the bedroom, leaving Gatomon once again.
"Sometimes, I feel like chopped liver" sighed Gatomon.
Highton View Terrance consisted of four apartment buildings. Each of the digidestined (excluding the new ones) lived in Highton View Terrance. Eight years ago, eight children witnessed a fight between a Greymon and a Parotmon that nobody else but them could see. The damage from the fight was caused by a "gas explosion", according to the media, but the 8 kids who had witnessed the fight knew better. This is how the 8 children became the digidestined. Izzy's apartment was in another apartment building than Tai's apartment. Tai ran as fast as he could to get to Izzy's apartment, hoping her little flower of a sister wasn't in Izzy's stomach yet.
"Tai!" yelled a voice behind him, and Tai looked behind him to see Agumon following him. Agumon had on a simple raincoat that hid his inhuman features. "wait up!"
"Decided to join me, huh?" asked Tai as he waited for Agumon to reach him.
"Yeah" said Agumon. "I would've stayed and watched Gatomon trying to get up and make fun of her, but she threatened to eat me"
"Why you didn't let her?" asked Tai.
"I wanted to wait for the next party to do that" said Agumon.
"Well,come on" said Tai. "I think Kari went to Izzy's"
"Lead the way, McDigidestined"
