Izzy was trapped. He didn't see any other way to get out of this. If everyone knew about him and Lillymon getting together in private, he'll die from embarassment.
"Okay, what's the favor?" asked Izzy.
"Let me eat you" said Kari. "I want to try this swallowing thing myself and you're just perfect to be my first human meal"
"Oh right..." said Izzy. "if you keep your mouth shut about me and Lillymon, I'll let you eat me after supper" Izzy glared over at Tentomon, who smiled...if a bug like Tentomon could smile.
"So...these parties are random?" asked Kari.
"Yep" said Izzy. "there might be one later on tonight, or not until next week. We just show up in one of our apartments and have fun eating each other. It's a contest with us"
"Who's won the most?" asked Kari.
"The very first time, it was me" said Izzy, who looked proud of himself. "the second time, the winner was Sora...the third time, the winner was Matt..."
"I asked you who has won the most" said Kari.
"That'll be Mimi" said Izzy. "that girl is one of best"
"Just because Gatomon is out of practice" said Tentomon.
"Has a digimon won a contest?" asked Kari.
"Twice, so far" said Izzy. "Garudamon and WereGarurumon"
"Who else knows about these parties of yours?" asked Kari.
"All of the digidestined, both old and new" said Tentomon. "Matt tried to stop T.K. from finding out about 'em, but T.K. found out a few weeks later...and, of course, all of the DigiDestineds' digimon"
"Izzy, dinner is ready" called out his mother. "is Kari going to join us?"
"Kari says she's not hungry" said Izzy. "I'll be there in a few minutes"
"I'm saving room in my tummy for you, Izzy" said Kari, patting her stomach.
"Yeah...I, er...figured" said Izzy.
Kari smiled widely.
"Gatomon?" asked Tai, as he entered his and Kari's bedroom. The cat digimon was lying on the floor with a belly bigger than she was. Agumon entered the room right behind Tai.
"Getting some practice?" asked Agumon.
"Oh, shut up" said Gatomon, trying to get up from her lying postition, but she fell back down due to her bloated belly. Gatomon cursed loudly.
"Gatomon, did you eat that roast my mom was cooking?" asked Tai. Gatomon nodded.
"I see that roast was too much for ya" teased Agumon, patting Gatomon's stomach. Gatomon growled softly.
"I'm out of practice" said Gatomon. "if I wasn't, I would eat you"
"Not if I digivolve into WarGreymon" said Agumon.
"You don't think so?" asked Gatomon. "I've eaten bigger digimon for breakfast. Wargreymon is just an appetitezer"
"I'll show you who's an appetitezer!" yelled Agumon. "Pepper breath!" Agumon shot out a fireball right at Gatomon, but Gatomon managed to roll out of the way.
"Lightning.."
"Guys, stop it!" yelled Tai. "where did Kari go?"
"I don't know" said Gatomon.
"You haven't told her about...our abilities, did you?" asked Tai.
"Well, yes" said Gatomon.
"WHAT?!" asked Tai. "why??"
"It's time for Kari to know" said Gatomon. "and anyway, I would like to be in these parties I've heard so much about. I heard Mimi is the most gluttonus of you lot"
"Well, she does have her moments" said Tai dryly.
"Coming out of retirement?" asked Agumon. "well, I'm happy that someone new is going to join the parties"
"I'm gonna find Kari by calling everyone" said Tai, walking out of the room. Agumon followed him.
"EXCUSE ME!" yelled Gatomon. "would somebody please help me up?!"
