Fallen into a temple

"For once, could we not take the so-called short cut?" asked Max.
Ash, May, Max and Brock were lost once again in the Hoenn Region. Ash had decided to take this short cut because someone had recommended it to the group. Well, it seemed that this short cut is a long-forgotten road because the path was overgrown with grass and weeds, making it diffucult to follow the fading path. One thing was for sure; this path followed the coast because they all could see the ocean and beach through the breaks of the trees. Pikachu was on Ash's shoulder like usual, and he was looking around and sniffing the air. The path had started about three miles back and it was steadily becoming hard to continue down the path.
"Well, sorry, but the lady told me that this was the best way to Goldenrod City" said Ash.
"Yeah, yeah" said May.
"According to the map, we're coming up on a temple" said Max, who was looking down at the GPS device known as a PokeNavi.
"Where?" asked Ash. "sure doesn't look like there's a temple around here"
That's when it happened. May took a single step and the ground fell under the group, and they fell into a large hole. They fell for what felt like 30 feet when they landed on a hard rock floor.
"Why do we always fall into these temples?" muttered Ash, rubbing his sore rear.
The group found themsleves in a square room roughly the size of a pokemon gym. Light flooded the chamber, lighting only the group and nothing much else. Ash pulled out a flashlight from his backpack and turned it on. There were murals all over the four walls of the big chamber they had fallen into. One of the murals was that of a woman with an incredibly huge butt sitting on what looked like a person sitting on a throne of some sort. Ash stared at the mural and so did Brock. Brock was starting to drool at the sight, until Max pulled his ear and led him away from the sight.
"What kind of a temple is this?" asked Ash.
"Hey, who are you and what are you doing here?!" asked a gruff voice. Ash and the others turned to face who had spoken. The voice had came from a man that looked to be in his mid-to-late 30's. The man was holding a torch. Next to the man stood a young man of about 16 or so. Both men had light green hair and a torch in thier hand. Besides the two men stood another young man of about 12 or 13. Unlike the two men, the third boy had blond hair.
"We kinda fell in" said Ash. "sorry for the trouble"
"I thought we were digging to close to the surface" said the 16-year-old.
"What is this place and who are all of you?" asked Max.
"I'm Sam" said the eldest man. "this is Roger, and that's Adam. This is the temple of a long-forgotten kingdom that Professor Willow found"
"As long as you're here, we might as well show you the way out" said Roger, the 16-year-old.
"Yeah" said Ash.
Sam, Roger and Adam led Ash and the others down a long hallway.
"So, what is this a temple to?" asked May.
"Ask Professor Willow" said Sam. "she's the real expert of this place"
Roger looked behind him to look at Ash, Brock, Max and May and then whispered something to Sam. Sam whispered something back. Ash caught a snatch of what Sam said. It sounded like Sam said something along the lines of "I'm not being a chair tonight", but Ash couldn't be that sure.
Sam, Roger and Adam took Ash and the others down a series of long hallways until they entered a room that looked like it was the entrance to the temple.
"Hey, thanks for leading us out" said Ash.
"No problem" said Roger. "would you all like to stay and have dinner with us?"
Adam, the youngest of the three, whispered something in Roger's ear. Roger didn't answer, but shot a look at Adam that plainly said "don't talk about that here".
"Is something wrong?" asked May.
"No, it's nothing" said Sam.
The group walked out of the temple and entered what looked like a medium-sized camp with a total of 10 tents.
