Viridian Forest was behind Misty and Ash. It only took Misty about five steps to exit the forest while she was 50 feet tall. During that time, Misty had probably squashed half the bug pokemon with her sneakers. Once they exited Viridian Forest, Misty shrank back to normal size. Pewter City wasn't at the end of Viridian Forest; instead, the city was about 3 miles away. Ash and Misty were in a wide-open grassland with the path leading to Pewter City. By the time the two travelled about a mile down the path, Ash's stomach started to growl. He hadn't eaten anything all day, and it was in the mid-afternoon now. Another half a mile, and Misty came to a stop.
"What is it?" asked Ash.
"I'm a tad hungry" said Misty. "I only had that Samurai kid for a snack. Now, I'm ready for a meal"
"Well, don't eat me" said Ash.
"Don't worry, I won't" said Misty.
"I'm kinda hungry myself" said Ash.
"Well, there's only one way to fix that" said Misty. "let's go to a resturant and eat"
"Sounds good" said Ash. "uhhhh.....do you have any money?"
"What for?" asked Misty.
"To pay for the..." started Ash.
"Who says I'm going to pay?" asked Misty slyly. "I said let's go to a resturant"
"You mean, you're gonna eat everybody at the resturant?" asked Ash.
"Well...maybe not everyone" said Misty.
"Why do you eat people?" asked Ash.
"I like the way they tickle my stomach" giggled Misty.
Ash said nothing to this.
Five minutes later, the two came upon a small resturant on the outskirts of Pewter City. The resturant looked to be an Italian resturant, and only had one story to it. A big sign on the double doors to the resturant proclaimed that the resturant was having its "Grand Opening" and that all meals are free during the grand opening. The resturant was called "Little Jessie's"
"Looks fishy" said Ash.
"Well...it looks as if I don't get to eat people now" said Misty, as she entered the resturant followed by Ash.
The resturant was about empty, with a few people in it.
"So much for the grand opening" said Ash dryly.
"We must've missed the lunch rush" said Misty, as a waiter came to seat them. The waiter was a rather handsome man with short blue hair and was wearing a suit and bowtie.
"Ah, welcome to our little Ristorante" said the man in a faux Italian accent. "table for two? Right this way" The waiter led them to a table in one corner,and gave out menus for Ash and Misty and walked off, saying that he'll be with them in a minute.
The menu had all the usuall stuff that an Italian resturant had; Pizza, Spaghetti, etc.
In the kitchen, James told Jessie and Meowth about the two new customers that had just came in. And the two appeared to be pokemon trainers.
"Excellent" said Jessie. "I'll shrink 'em down to size, steal thier pokemon, and eat 'em"
