The PersonBall in Misty's hand was about the size of a small house to Ash. Ash didn't want to go into the ball, but he didn't like the idea of being sat on until he was weak enough to capture. Misty had shrunk down a good 20 feet when she had stopped. The former 50-foot-tall tomboy was only 30 feet tall now. Misty was glaring at him, waiting for his answer. Ash sighed deeply.
"I'll go into the ball" said Ash. He said this in a defeated voice. If Ash was going to be a slave, he ought to obey every order that Misty gave him or she might eat him...or crush him...or kill him in other greusome ways. It might not be that bad in the PersonBall after all. PersonBalls look just like a regular pokeball, but had special features for people. Ash didn't know what was in a PersonBall because he had never been in one. His mother, Delia, only had regular pokeballs since PersonBalls were very expensive. Ash's mom was one of those people with pokemon abitilies and she could also grow as tall as she wanted to. Delia had several slaves from Pallet Town and the surrounding towns. Ash had been in a pokeball before and he didn't like it one little bit. It was dark and featureless in a pokeball...there wasn't even any light or anything. Ash was put into a pokeball mostly for safety sake, to prevent him from being accidently crushed by his mom. However, Ash wasn't a slave to his mother...or at least, he wasn't called a slave. Delia was kind and gentle to her slaves...as long as they do what they're told.
Misty pointed the PersonBall right at Ash, and a beam of red light came right at Ash. In less than a minute, Ash disappeared from Misty's hand. Misty smiled and continued to shrink down to her normal height. She started to make camp a short distance away from the resturant. She placed the PersonBall on her belt, along with her other pokeballs. The PersonBall was a bit bigger than the other Pokeball, but only slightly.
Ash appeared in a red flash within the PersonBall. He was now inside what looked like a fully stocked living room...there was even a TV! Ash blinked and looked around. Could this really be the inside of a PersonBall? It looked more like a house than the inside of a pokeball. He decided to explore his new home. There were a total of four rooms; Living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a small bedroom. The bathroom had a working toliet in it! How could they have pluming in a PersonBall? How he was able to breathe in here? That answer came fast; there were several vents around the PersonBall that allowed air into the PersonBall. The vents were way too small for Ash to squeeze through..not that he wanted to. He had accepted his fate as a slave. But wait. Didn't Misty say that he was going to be a slave until he got her a new bike? All he had to do was to get Misty a new bike and he'll be free. Bikes were cheap, right? But he had no money...or even clothes. Ash turned on the TV and sat down to watch.
The Meowth-Head hot-air balloon went unnoticed by Misty. Misty was far too busy to notice the hot-air balloon that floated high above her. In the basket of the hot-air balloon, two figures peered down at Viridian City. Both figures had white shirts on with a big "R" on it. The two figures were joined by a meowth.
"Well, look at that" said the blue-haired man named James. "Viridian City is desserted. Time to steal some pokemon"
"Don't be stupid, James" said Jessie, his female companion. "didn't you see that giant twerp a while ago? If we go around stealing pokemon, she'll catch us"
"Lost your nerve?" asked Meowth.
"If that twerp can grow herself, yes" said Jessie. "I may have pokemon powers, but I don't have the power to grow myself"
"But you do have the power to shrink and unshrink people" said James.
"Just be patient" said Jessie. "let's not rush into things"
"As you say, Mistress" said James. Jessie just chuckled and smiled. The hot-air balloon floated out of sight.
