While Skuld and Urd looked at each other, Belldandy was looking strait at Urd’s tanned, bloated belly. The sweetest of the three goddess stepped closer, coming to a stop at Urd’s feet. Her sisters unusual silence unsettled Urd. She tried to tell whether Belldandy knew exactly whom it was inside of by looking at her face, but her expression gave nothing away. The usually carefree smile Belldandy wore wasn’t present as she studied Urd’s belly. There was actually no response at all on her face as she leaned closer and poked Urd’s stomach.
“Who’s in there?” She finally said, breaking the tension that had settled over the room. A million different lies came to Urd’s mind instantly. She could say that it was the neighbor kid that had been looking tasty or that she was actually pregnant or that she had just swallowed some helium. She had a million others that she knew would divert Belldandy’s attention long enough for her to enjoy having Keiichi a little longer.
“It’s Keiichi.”
“You!” Urd glared at her little sister, who responded by blowing her a raspberry. Skuld had spilled the beans, much to Urd’s shock. She had thought the squirt would want her snack to remain a secret, so Keiichi would be out of the way. Skuld smirked at Urd’s confusion, before she smugly explained why she’d told.
“I don’t see why you should have him inside you if you aren’t going to digest him. Better Belldandy knows and I can stop pretending to look for the bum. Enjoy explaining this, ta!”
Skuld scampered away, leaving Urd alone with an eerily silent Belldandy. Alone, Urd slumped back, as she waited for what was going to happen next. She wasn’t physic, but she knew how Belldandy would react to finding out that not only had she swallowed Keiichi, but he was still inside her gurgling insides.
“You….Ate…. Keiichi,” Belldandy said in a very unBelldandy way. Electricity crackled around her as she barely kept her power in check. Urd let out a little eep at her sister’s show of power. She was technically the strongest of the siblings, but with all the restrictions placed on her by the Almighty, her power was almost halved, leaving Belldandy the strongest of the Norms. If ever attacked, Urd would simply teleport away through the TV, but her passenger made that impossible. Any teleportation with a mortal inside of her could cause the mortal to implode. Urd couldn’t risk Keiichi getting hurt, even if it meant that she was attacked, Urd could do nothing.
“Hey now, just wait a second. I was only trying to prove he wouldn’t be frightened if you swallowed him,” Urd desperately tried to explain as her sister drew more energy. Sweating under the awesome power flowing through her middle sister, Urd raised her hand up and closed her eyes ready for impact. Before Belldandy struck, she blurted out the only thing she could think of to say.
“And he wasn’t frighten, Belldandy. He actually liked it a little!”
“Really?”
Urd took a chance and opened her eyes, finding her sister no longer poised to attack, but sitting beside her in deep contemplation. A relieved sigh escaped Urd, Belldandy was listening and knew she was telling the truth. One of the few advantages to having a little demon blood in your veins is that when your telling a lie it pulsates dark energy, but when your telling the truth, no dark energy. Belldandy had heard what she said and knew she was telling the truth.
“He really did enjoy it, you’d be surprised how much that boy can take,” Urd calmly said and wrapped her arm around her befuddled sister. It didn’t bother her that a few moments ago she had almost been fried by the person she was hugging. They were sisters, they fought, they cried, but they always stayed together.
“But, if I move to fast then…” Belldandy bit her bottom lip, afraid at the repercussions of Keiichi getting frightened off by her. Urd hugged her sister closer, thinking the exact same thing. Both girls couldn’t imagine a world without the young mortal with them. He had wormed into both their hearts to stay.
“But if you do nothing he won’t even know you care. You have to show him that you like him a lot or he’ll never know. He’ll just keep on living with you, seeing you as nothing more then annoyance and never understanding your feelings for him. He needs to be told that you love him for a very long time.”

Gulping nervously, Urd looked at her sister to see if she had picked up what Urd had unconsciously revealed about her feelings.
