The good news is that pissed Amy off. The bad news is THAT PISSED AMY OFF!!! Telling a girl that she's getting a little fat is like telling a trailer park that Walmart sucks! And sadly for our fast blue hero, at the moment, the one thing bigger than Amy Rose's appetite was that big ol' vein popping in her forehead!
*KA-PONK!*
"whoOOOOOAAAAAAA-"*THUD!* Pinkie's trusted mallet sent Sonic flying across the room until straight SMACK into a wall! Unfo-I mean Fortunately, no bones were broken.
"Ughhh..." Sonic groaned as he scraped himself off the wall. "wHoa. And aye thought chubs were saposed to be jo-lly."
Knuckles couldnt help but smack his head over and over again! "Ugh!! Man! What were you thinking?! Are you trying to get us into more trouble?!" Good thing Chris came to Sonic's aide as he helped him off the ground.
"Sorry, Sonic!" Chris tried to comfort him, "looks like we're gonna need another plan to get to that emerald inside her!"
"Wuh? Whatre ya talking about" Sonic scratched his head, "I just didnt want Amy getting all fat and stuff!"
"WHAT?! You mean to tell me you've been-"
"GUYS!" Tails shouted while pointed to the enraged hedgehog, "She's gonna snap! Let's get outta here!"
A flaming aura was developing around Amy's body. Her eyes grew bright like the sun as she clenched the mallet in her hands tighter and gritter her teeth out of anger. Out of nowhere, Ms Rose let out a loud "GRRRRAAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!" meaning 'Somebody gonna hurt REEEAAALLL bad!'
Seeing that she had a craving for some 'hedgehog a la mush', the group made a 180 turn and headed straight out of the temple! Poor Eggman was still tied up, so being egg-shaped he had to resort to rolling out of the temple!
"This is bad," Chris shuddered as he was running for his life, "THIS IS BAD! What are we gonna do now?"
"All we can do now is run," Tails answered as he propelled his tails like a helicopter, "It looks like extracting the Chaos Emerald out of Amy is gonna be even harder than we..." Tails stopped in midsentence as he noticed Sonic snickering, "Sonic! What's so funny?"
"Uheheheh... 'demand to expand'! HAHAHAHA!" the blue boy actually had the nerve to laugh at his own sick joke. Robotnik couldnt even help but shrug, "Honestly... I lose to THAT on a regular basis?" Luckily, Knuckles had a plan of his own!
"I know of a way we can stall for more time!" Knuckles spoke up, "We can give her something big enough to quench her appetite!"
"But what would be big enough to quench Amy's appetite?" Tails asked.
...For some odd reason, Knuckles stopped the rolling Robotnik in his tracks! But why, one begins to wonder. All that was known was that the emotionless look in the red echidna's eye gave the doctor the creeps...
"I propose EGGMAN!" Knuckles spoke in his dark, serious tone that is not to be confused with another similar stern voice!
"W W W WHAT??!!" Robotnik shouted, "Are you serious?! Im the world's greatest genius mind! It cannot be wasted on feeding some crazed lunatic!"
"SHUT UP!" Knuckles shouted in his face, "It's your fault we're in this situation in the first place!
"Yeah!" Tails agreed, "Besides, the world will be a much better place without you in it!" Being rid of the arch-enemy once and for all. Quite an opportunity.
"Wait!" Chris pleaded, "This isnt right! No one deserves to be sacrificed against their will like this! We'd be no better than him if we did it." Eggman shamelessly agreed to Chris's plead.
So far, the vote was 2-to-2. The only voter left was Sonic. And he was thinking LONG and HARD about this one! He IS Robotnik's greatest enemy after all!
"Uh.. Sonic? Buddy?" Robotnik tried to reason with him, "It's me! Your old pal, Dr Eggman! You cant just let them feed me to that thing! You and I are lifelong rivals! Doesnt that make us something?"
This choice was tough. On one hand, this would mean the end of the Robotnik threat once and for all! On the other hand, the plump doc DOES have his good points... he was there to lend Sonic a hand whenever the world was threatened by ANOTHER colossal danger! Who could Sonic get to replace the remarkable genius?!
What's it gonna be? What's gonna happen to the big doc at the mercy of his greatest enemies? Will he be spared... or just another notch to Amy's waistline?!
