"Suguru, wake up, you slept in" Mahoro said gently but urgently. "Huh ? Oh right" he rose from slumber. He spent half of last night thinking about Mahoro and himself. So many ideas, ranging from the romantic to the X-Rating ran through his head last night.
Suguru quickly got dressed, and luckily had time to eat Mahoro's delicious breakfast.
"Do you have everything ?" Mahoro asked as he headed for the door. "Yeah everything" Suguru replied. "Do you have your handkerchief ?" she asked. "Unless it jumped out of my pocket three seconds ago, yes" he said.
"Alright, have a good time at school" Mahoro said cheerfully. Suguru smiled and left.
Just as Mahoro was about to turn around, Suguru came back. "You forgot something ?" Mahoro asked.
"Yeah, this" he gave her a quick peck on the cheek.
"Now I'm ready to start the day" Suguru left very confident.
Mahoro just touched her cheek, and then smiled.
At school, as usual Suguru was the final person in his group to arrive. He still a few minutes to spare though.
His friends turned their heads, as he walked in smiling and with his head held high.
"Suguru, your looking cheerful today" Miyuki said. "Yeah, I am" he said in a happy daze.
"Man, I haven't seen him like this since he watched that girl on girl movie" Toshiya said. Miyuki, Rin, and Chizuko gave him a look. He just cleared his throat.
"So what's up Suguru ?" Toshiya asked him. That brought him back to his senses. "Oh nothing in particular" he said getting nervous.
"Okay enough talk, what did Mahoro make you today ?" Chizuko opened up his lunch.
Before she clarified the type of meal, something else caught her eye "Uh Suguru, why is there a pink note in your rice ?"
"Huh ?!" he quickly grabbed it. It was note written on pink paper and it read "Hope you enjoy your lunch" and it had a little heart drawn on it
"What's it say ?" Miyuki asked. "Uh nothing, nothing, it's nothing!" he crumpled it up.
"Why are you acting so weird?" Rin asked. They all stared at Suguru with determined looks in their eyes. He was cornered.
"Hey anyone else notice that Ms. Shikijo isn't here today?" Chizuko asked, typically off topic.
Once they turned to her, something else occurred to Suguru. Even if he did tell them about him and Mahoro being an item, there was not a chance in hell he would go any further than that.
Anyway, they looked back at him, and he just smiled goofy.
